Despite showing its red light ok, it totally refused to work at all for 10 minutes until the Sky box had been switched on directly. It worked ok after that. I have replaced it.

Very good piece of electronics which linked my secondary tv to my primary one, seemlessly. Easy to connect and resulted in an excellent solution.

This was a replacement for the one l had on the kitchen portable linking sky from my living room that broke. I must say l was so pleased to see it on Amazon a fraction of the price l paid Sky for the original! It worked perfectly, simply to install and really pleased with it . This is a similar fitting and application as the other IR extenders I have purchased. The product is well-made but, asI have yet to install it, I cannot add anything about its operational capabilities. There is, however, no reason to assume that it will not function as intended.

I wanted this item to enable me to change satellite channels as the box is located in another part of the house. Before the unit will work properly I need to upgrade my co-axial cable connection - absolutely no surprise about that because of the length and poor quality of existing cable and number of connections in it, so it needed to be done in any case. Have tested the Global Black Eye, though, and it works fine. Received well within the specified delivery period. Well pleased.
