I smelled something in my kitchen emanating from my garbage disposal. I scrubbed but the odor reappeared. I bought a new stopper but that didn’t help. I needed a solution and came across these deodorizing tablets. The directions are clear and the tablets are easy to use. THEY WORK, the embarrassing odor disappeared! Now, I use them once a week to maintain a clean, odor-free garbage disposal.

I was lookin' for a way to tackle the lingering smells from my garbage disposal, and this ACTIVE product really does a good job. It's super easy to use, you just run the hot water, drop a tablet in while it trickles, then flip on the disposal. The foam action is really cool to watch, you know it's getting up in there and cleaning out all the gunk that causes the stink. The citrus scent is nice and fresh and it absolutely eliminates the bad odors right away. My disposal looks and smells much cleaner after just one use, and the instructions say to use it once or twice a month, which the 24-pack makes easy for a whole year. It even seems to help the drain go faster, which is a big plus. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the fresh smell don't last as long as I'd like. The disposal is still clean, but the scent fades after a couple days. Still, it works really well and I think it's a great value for the price. I'd definitely recommend it for keeping your disposal fresh.

I just moved into a new home, and the previous tenants lived extremely FILTHY. The home was so disgusting, and I keep finding so many new things I need to deep clean. One area in particular, was the garbage disposal, it smelled horrific and looks like they’ve never ever cleaned it a day in their life. I’m new to Active products, and every time I try something new, it never ceases to amaze me how clean it leaves everything. From the washer tablets, dishwasher tablets, and even the appliance wipes, everything I’ve purchased and used from Active has been so great. But the garbage disposal tablets in particular, have worked wonders. Like I mentioned, it was full of disgusting GUNK and it smelled when you got next to the sink. To try and even scrub in there, was a nightmare. I threw two tables in, and immediately there was a huge difference in cleanliness. It even cleaned it around the ring, and got some rust from the bottom out. All the hard gunk that initially couldn’t get scrubbed off, finally was removed after using these tablets. In the before and after photos, you can see a huge difference. It no longer smells rotten, it smells clean and citrusy. There was a tiny bit of gunk left from the first wash, but I did another round of 2 tablets, and it got it out in the next round. It was definitely not because the product wasn’t effective, but again, because the people who lived here before were filthy. I will continue to buy all Active Products because they are extremely effective, reasonably priced, and its a family business. Thanks Active!!

This stuff works very well and it cleaned out my disposal quite well. It left a nice lemony smell when I finished rinsing.

Item works well, I used 2 for the first use and the foam didn’t come up but it seemed to clean the disposal.

I like how this smells. I'm assuming it's cleaning well, I'll have to get a flashlight to look down in there. It has removed the odor from both the garbage disposal side and the regular side of my sink(s). I also purchased a CLR brand that was supposed to be unscented (it isn't) and this got rid of most of that smell (it is quite offensive). It also performed better than that other brand. I like it. Give it a try.

Packaging is great, I love that it’s in a box and then individually wrapped, makes it safer. Tablets are bigger than I expected and very dense. Super easy to use as well. My only issue is I did not smell any citrus at all, BUT that may be due to my homes pipes being 70 years old and who knows when they were cleaned out last (I just purchased the house). Overall great and will buy again when I run out.

Just remember: this is not a clog remover, so don’t expect it to fix a blocked sink. What Works: - Cleans and deodorizes well — the disposal smells fresher right after use. - Great value for money, especially compared to smaller packs. Limitations: - The scent is very faint — pleasant, but not long-lasting. - You usually need 2 tablets at once for a solid result. - Calling it a “12-month supply” is misleading; using 2 tablets and cleaning more than once a month reduces that significantly. Conclusion: Strong performer for maintenance and odor control — just don’t expect a powerful scent or miracle unclogging. Still one of the best options in this price range.

These are amazing. I never had a garbage disposal before. Moved in to this place a year ago. Decided I should clean it, gave these a try. Although I had to use 4 the first time to see the form activated. In the end its clean and smells way better. Will buy again

I was expecting and explosion of foam because I had not cleaned my disposal in months... but it was minimal.... did smell much better...

I bought these for my sink disposal unit. I have zero issues with mine and it didn’t smell either. These are more for garburator maintenance, not to do a super clean. I think they do work well to get rid of odours if they exist.

I had high hopes for the Garbage Disposal Cleaner Deodorizer Tablets, especially with the promise of “powerful XL foaming action.” Unfortunately, the product didn’t live up to its claims. The tablets barely foamed, and even after multiple uses, there was no noticeable improvement in cleaning or odor removal. The scent was faint and didn’t last long, leaving my disposal smelling almost the same as before. Additionally, a few tablets didn’t fully dissolve, which made the sink area messy and required extra cleaning afterward — completely defeating the purpose of a “convenient cleaner.” Overall, I found the product ineffective and not worth the cost. That’s why I decided to return it. I hope the manufacturer improves the formula because, in its current state, it doesn’t deliver the results advertised.
