Great headphones with a neat feature!
Pros: 1) Everything comes inside the box, no need for extra cables. 2) You get a nice in depth manual for checking out the different features. 3) The headphones themselves are built quite solidly, and they have good cushioning as well. 4) You have many features included: FM Radio (although a bit gimicky and doesn't work where I live), micro SD Card slot and the speaker mode which is shown in the video. 5) The speaker mode is great to have if you want to share some music on the go. Although the sound isn't anything special, the feature is very neat and great to have! 6) Sound in headphones mode is good, nothing special though. You can EQ it to make it sound a bit better although you still need to keep in mind the price tag. For this price, it sounds absolutely fine. 7) Battery life is good as well and will last you around 4 hours if not more. Cons: 1) The AUX cable has a bit of a colour mismatch as it is in red with golden connectors. It doesn't make sense with the all black colour of the headphones, but I do not mind it.

Amazing for price
For the price / great product / good bass and sound quality - great range/ a very small amount tight for prolonged use. Battery life decent but not as great .

Careful with it while it's on your neck!
Long story short, at 6am on my commuter bus, the headphone dedicated to switching to speaker mode flipped while resting around my neck and blasted 'Pumped Up Kicks' at full volume. Probably scared a few people more than just the initial volume increase... Other than that one occurrence they are pretty decent headphones (I wear glasses and my ears get a little sore though so watch that)

Awesome Product
Great pair of headphones, the sound is quite crisp along with some awesome base and they are pretty comfortable too, and all this for only 35 pounds, is a bargain. The speaker mode is also very good, the sound quality doesn't change when you switch between the two modes which is great, would recommend. :)

So here is my little dissenting voice nestled amongst all these glowing 5 star reviews. Two stars only. Am I just a meanie? Well no I'm not! Receiving these Veenax HS3’s and giving them a workout it made me reflect on just how many headphones I have (and have had). Let me just say now emphatically before I drag you through the rest of my review that I do not like the sound of these HS3's at all. They are mushy, soupy sounding with an ill defined bass and a dark recessed treble. They don't make you WANT to listen to music. Quite the opposite in fact. The sound is dull drab and boring. Even when you turn them up they start to lose control and just end up sounding disjointed and and and…….well fairly dreadful really. I reached for the cheapest set of headphones I own just to compare them. They cost me about £5 reduced from maybe £8-10 pounds. I can’t even make out the name on them that’s how nondescript they are. Are they Philips? Binatone? Whatever they are earbuds and are a whole lot better! So much better that I left them on and listened to some music with pleasure. These HS3's are flexible what with the micro SD and all that and even an FM radio which managed to pick up some signals, but with all that flexibility they do not fufill their main task which is playing music and making it pleasurable. Yes you could employ an equaliser if your player has one and get them to sound half decent. It is possible I know because I did just that. BUT my main need is to use them late at night watching Prime movies. At this moment the Prime movies interface doesn’t have an equaliser (does it?) so what you get with your headphones is ……...er what you get. And by the way when I took the headphones out for the first time I thought they were going to break just being unfolded. I’m sure they will not last they feel fragile to a fault. The speakers work ok when you turn them out. They go fairly loud depending on what source you are using and it’s such a shame that the headphones sound so meh as I would like to keep them for that very useful facility. Yes I’m sending them back AND also because there is an unmistakeable underlying self noise which is constant. You probably won’t notice it when your tunes are fired up and banging but play something else (like a movie with quiet dialogue) and the roar in the background is just unpleasant and grotty sounding. I’ve noticed this with some less than stellar bluetooth products. What the manufacturer does is employ a muting circuit or a gate (if you know what that is). As soon as the sound approaches silence then the mute or gate is activated to quickly give you the impression of inky black and lovely silence before the next track. Nah it’s a con so don’t fall for it! I give products a fair chance but I do check them out thoroughly and I do know exactly why I may not be satisfied with them. I really don’t know how to trust the other reviews on here. Make up your own mind though one or two are well judged and honest sounding but the rest? Hah!. Just for fun let me try and count the headphones I have: Sennheiser HD 565 Sennheiser HD201 (2 pairs) Mpow QY7 earbuds Thomann cheap earbuds Maxell Retro DJ Headphone Mpow H1 Azatom BE7 Superlux HD 660 Vivanco SR750 Generic Bluetooth BSH10 behind the head headphones Two very cheap basic ear in headphones EVERY headphone I own kick these HS3’s where it hurts. The closest it gets are the cheap BSH10 headphones but it still loses. I know because I just dug them out to give it a try! Head to head they lost! It’s like Ruiz Jnr second time around with Anthony Joshua. All them pies and so he got schooled. Veenax HS3’s you’re all bloated go back to school (go back to Amazon!!!!). One last thing out of interest I tried the Leon Timbo song Don’t Call on them. Everything hangs around an extremely well recorded kick drum. The kind of sound that would crush your ribcage over a good club system. On the Veenax’s it's a sad sorry cardboard sounding shadow of what it should be. Choose better.

Well, this is my first time getting a headphone speaker, quite useful to keep the world to my self or when I wanted to share music with my friends or when I wanted to go to shower with music in the background. I was a bit worried at first for the noise described in item description but in my use didn’t notice that at all. Battery life is okay, I always keep my electronics connected to power when not using so haven’t had problem so far. No lagging or disconnection in music noticed so far.

update - poor quality headphones now. the audio sounds defective and cuts in and out. it isnt charging well or lasting very long for battery life. Save your money and buy a better quality headset.
