Is the basket stainless steel as well? Do you need paper filters or will the basket work without it?

The baskets are stainless steel and you do not need paper filters if you grind the coffee for a percolator. We buy our coffee at Costco and use the machine in the store and set it to "13 Percolator". The basket is specially designed to not need a filter if the coffee grind is correct.

where is product made

It says made in the USA. There is also Yonkers New York printed on the bottom as well. No I did not buy it here.

How is the plastic knob attached to the top? Is it screwed in from under the top or welded? You input and/or pic would be greatly appreciated!

The knob is screwed on. I just tightened mine. I’m afraid I’ll create a problem if I unscrew it and take it off. The under part is smooth with no screw showing through.

What's the voltage in this percolator? I want it for use in the middle east and must be 220V
