My old unit failed, (original in a 1995 American Coach) Installed this one, and now my water pump works again. Easy install. If this one holds up half as long as the first, I will be more than happy. Price was great.

Long story short: pump indicator light was always on, but pump would not work unless I grounded it manually. I called intellitec, they said the Shurflo pump doesn't play well with this Intellitec controller. They suggested I install a Bosch automotive relay (NAPA part AR-419) and they emailed me a wiring diagram as to how to wire it up. Very grateful to Intellitec. Will update review once relay is installed. (Update: Been working great for months with relay installed.) Note: Prior to messing up, the Shurflo pump had worked fine with the Intellitec controller for a year or so. Intellitec said the Shurflo pump and the Intellitec controller often work fine together for a while, but then will quit playing well together unexpectedly.

The original failed and this replacement was recommended by several others who have had the same problem. It works just fine and was only a minor struggle to install. I’m a little concerned about durability as the quality seems less than the original, but it works and the original doesn't, so for now all is well. Will it last 6 years like the original? Only time will tell, but it might be a good idea to buy two of them so you have a spare.

Replaced the original in the Motor Home. Easily snapped in place. Strongly recommend you move one wire at a time to make sure nothing gets crossed up. Well made, easy to see and read. Excellent replacement.
