A Great CD to listen to.
A good cd with brilliant songs on by Simply Red,it takes me back to my teens and the 80s which was great music and my favourite music but Simply Red did a lot of great songs.

Simply Red Greatest Hits
I have started the process of replacing some of my CD collection that got lost in the process of a house move just over .3 years ago so rather than replacing every single one, I have gone down the route of ‘ Greatest Hits’ I was lucky enough to see Simply Red in concert many years ago and this album reminds me of what a great time we had that night.

シンプリー・レッドは1985年から2010年まで活動したバンド。 その間中心人物ミック・ハックネル以外、実に２４名のメンバーが入れ替わった。 ちなみにその中に屋敷豪太、鈴木賢司が名を連ねている。 バンド名の"ＲＥＤ"はミックの毛の色や彼の出身地で活躍するサッカークラブ、マンチェスターユナイテッドの チームカラーに由来する。 彼等の作品にはかつてのヒット曲を時代に合わせてアレンジしたものがある。デビュー曲のマネーズ・トゥ・タイト、 イフ・ユー・ドント・ノウ・ミー・バイ・ナウ、ユー・メイク・ミー・フィール・ブランド・ユー、等々である。 オリジナル曲含め音表現、曲調はとても爽やかで洗練されたものとなっている。 個人的には、彼の幼少期の思いを綴ったホールディング・バック・ジ・イヤーズ、思わずドタドタとステップを踏みたくなる フェアーグランドが好み。 流れる景色の中で聴くのも、とても心地良い。 お奨めします。

Questa raccolta dei Simply Red, pubblicata il 17 Novembre del 2008, tipercorre i 25 anni di carriera del gruppo, dal 1984 al 2008, e contiene i loro maggiori successi più la cover inedita Go Now di Bessie Banks. In Europa è stata distribuita in formato doppio CD (13 + 12 brani), mentre negli Stati Uniti in edizione singola (17 brani). È stata anche pubblicato un DVD con 25 videoclip; ma al posto di Go Now contiene Infidelity. Alla pubblicazione della racconta ha fatto seguito il Greatest hits tour 2009, inizia in Germania e termina in Irlanda, passando per l'Italia. All'esibizione di Milano, il gruppo ha avuto come apri concerto la cantante Noemi. Per gli amanti del gruppo inglese la raccolta è sicuramente un "must have" che sicuramente non delude. 🌼🍓
