Nothing in the enclosed manual talked about “Cal” on the port display. I determined that the product was defective and asked for a return/refund. The seller put me through several hoops, including providing a series of actions to get the product to work correctly, despite my telling him that there was NOTHING in the product manual documenting this type of problem. After 2 weeks of back many back and forth communications, I finally received a return authorization. I do not make it a habit to return products; typically researching items before I buy and I had extensive experience with the Tacktick Micro Compass. I buy from desertcart because of excellent product info as well as good return policy.
