After the sad passing of Whitney, had to purchase this, one of her great albums. Highly recommend this for true whitney fans like myself. I have all her cds and DVDs, this is a great addition to my collection. The greatest female singer of our time, her music will live on.

I'm Your Baby Tonight - the CD single!
As the lead single for the album of the same name, 'I'm Your Baby Tonight' was given a makeover for its single release in Britain. Yvonne Turner's mix is present as the single and extended version of the track on the CD single. Both are punchy and anthemic and are - to my ears - far superior to the Dronez remix and the original version, which are available elsewhere. 'I'm Knockin'', which closes the papent album, is also included on the CD single release. It's a shorter cut than the album version, fading out at 4:08, but other than that there's no difference to the mix. It's a mid tempo belter for Whitney and is a polished piece of soul pop. The CD single closes with 'Feels So Good', a non-album track. A laid back groove that could easily have sat on the main album, 'Feels So Good' is a good little treat to close the single release. Reid & Babyface, Narada Michael Walden, Michael Masser, Ricky Minor, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder e dalla stessa Houston, contiene 11 tracce tutte scritte da vari autori e anche dagli stessi produttori. Nella classifica di vendita italiana questo disco raggiunse il quinto posto nella settimana dell'uscita, mentre in Inghilterra fu quarto e in America terzo Ma grazie alla pubblicazione dei singoli il disco prese quota portando Whitney alla conquista di ben 18 dischi di platino e 1 d'oro nel mondo, con circa 13 milioni di dischi venduti. Questi 6 singoli fortunati sono: "I'm Your Baby Tonight", "All the Man That I Need", "Miracle", "My Name Is Not Susan", "I Belong to You", "We Didn't Know" (duetto con Stevie Wonder). La voce di Whitney sempre più matura ed emozionante esplora in questo disco oltre al pop classico e dance, anche l'R&B e il funk, ma sono le sue ballate che conquistano di più ed alcune sono davvero da pelle d'oca. La registrazione digitale è perfetta! 53 minuti di grandissima musica. Consigliato a tutti quelli che hanno amato Whitney e a quelli che la vogliono ricordare ascoltando questo CD.
