Not only did I get a very great quality, dread crochet hook, but I also got various dread beads! Which was a wonderful surprise! The handle on this hook is so comfortable, perfect for dread maintenance!

This is a good tool if you had someone to do it for you. I do not and find it time consuming. I do my own hair and my hair is growing so fast I might have to go to a shop. The Locs I completed were very steady but there's not enough hours in a day to do all this hair! NoWay but kudos to the tool!

Was worried about the ability to handle without hand cramping. Does not slip, easy to hold on to. Originally wanted the 12 mm, but saw that this one had a handle. Love the carrying case, hook doesn't get caught in items while in bag and I don't stick myself when I reach for it. Does the job well with small to mid-size locs. Would make a great gift for anyone who has dreds.

Not really what I expected in packaging but hey, if it gets the job done can't really complain. The beads look pretty cheaply made but that's not what I ordered it for, they were just an added addition to the crochet needle so I don't really mind. Possibly should have ordered a bit bigger needle for maintenance of my dreads but that's my fault. Needle looks fairly sturdy. For the price, I'm content with this purchase.

I was happy with the product but after crocheting my locs together (I wanted to thicken them) and began combining them to make the locs look like one singular loc the needle bent until it it broke off.

I love it! Works very well for my sons hair. He is very impatient and only 3 years old sooo this is the way with the least amount of pain for him when I started them. Now I palm roll them. But this is s great tool to start them.

It works. For big and small dreadlocks.. best tool out. Wish I been had this thing.
