Installed on Vevor diesel heater (the 8k thin and tall model), fits inside no problems. Didn't need to remove or add any fuel line. Just splice at the appropriate point so it fits under the metal panel that the fuel lines go through. Seal is excellent, it does the job.

I'm actually using this to filter water for an automatic plant waterer that I built. It's to prevent larger bits of junk from ending up in the pumps. It works quite well, although it adds a lot of bubbles to the water, which generally isn't that big of a deal. We'll see how long they really hold up, if the mesh ever rusts, or if the plastic compartment ever breaks in some way. I don't mechanically stress them like they would be in a diesel vehicle, so I really cannot speak to the plastic's mechanical strength, but it feels fairly brittle.
