I like the small bristles—they work well to remove flakes and dandruff from the hair. It feels great on the scalp, and the material is smooth, so it doesn’t feel painful when brushing. Excellent! I live in the woods in a major tick area. I have three - one for me, one for my dog, and one I keep in the car. I use them to ensure there are no ticks in my hair or in her fur before they can attach. This is an effective, well made product.

I have it as 4 stars because only because it's NOT a dandruff comb, it's for fleas. For that it works extremely well to comb out the dead fleas after flea treatments. It's a higher quality than I expected for the price, and has a thin plastic handle. The tines are smooth against my pets skin and don't appear to have oxidized at all after all the use! The metal is all still so shiny!

This stainless steel dandruff comb does help remove flakes and feels sturdy in the hand. The fine teeth glide through hair fairly well, but it can be uncomfortable on sensitive scalps if you press too hard. It’s also a bit small for thick or long hair, so it takes a few extra passes to get through. Useful for occasional grooming, but not a miracle fix for dandruff.
