The aquaballs are a great idea but be warned - they failed to clean the washing at all when we put in a normal load, they only worked on very small loads.  They also don't work on higher temperatures, anything above 40 degrees (not the 80 degrees it says on the box) and they can come unstuck and you end up with a machine full of little balls.  Trying to get a refund is like drawing teeth and we had to wait a very long time from this company.  It will take us quite a while to regain confidence in this product.

I have been using the aquaball for my laundry for a number of years and have had excellent results.  It saves on buying laundry detergent and soft rinse and keeps the washing machine free of scum and not clogged up from residue and if you or someone in your family has skin allergies as I have in my family.  This item has been purchased for my son who has just left home and requested one for himself.  Thumbs up for this product.

Only use up to 40C. Warmer than that and the ball comes apart and the contents clog up your machine.
