Since I knew nothing about cut vinyl, I read about this stuff. but I instead surfaced some MDF, then used Polyurethane to seal, then tried this stuff. I had read people thinned it, and it does still work, at 50/50, but was barely sticky. So went full strength. Squirted it on and used a vinyl glove to spread. Spreads out nice and smooth, and I tried to spread somewhat thin. Once dry, and it worked perfectly. Nice and tacky. Held vinyl down great, but I still used painters tape around edges to be safe.
