Little Tikes Turtle Sandbox, for Boys and Girls Ages 1-6 Years

It’s a good size for my baby. The color is eye catching. Easy to build. There was no missing parts. I love that it comes with a lid. My baby can stand on it and it’s seems really sturdy. Holds a good amount of dirt. I bought it on sale I would recommend.

Nice size sandbox for our toddler. 1 bag of sand filled it half full which is great for this age. Assembly was easy enough and the lid keeps everything looking clean.

AWFUL!!! Does not easily snap together. Left gaps because all 4 pieces do not lie flat so some connections are slightly higher. Sand will get out, bugs will get in. One of our connections was missing a piece so the screw would not screw in. Absolutely awful product and will not do what it is intended to do...keep sand in the box. Unfortunately due to my oversight, we didn't put it together prior to my son and grandchildren arriving and missed our return window. Into the trash it goes.

We ordered the sandbox as a Christmas gift for our 3 year old and he loves it! My husband put it together inside to place under the tree. He had no problem with the assembly and it was easy to transport outside also. It isn’t real big, but we live in a rural area and the well fitting shell that covers and protects it, along with the price makes it a good choice! It holds three 5 lb bags of play sand. We haven’t had it long enough to find out if there will be a problem with water retention.

This was a little smaller than expected, but for a small toddler it is fine. It has been sturdy through loads of playing. It holds plenty of sand for a toddler to have a good time in. I like the lid for it. I pop it on if we are going to have rain. It is a cute design and a bright color. It is pretty easy to move around.

Not as big as one purchased 25 years ago requiring less sand. Two 40 lbs. bags seen to do it. Must be assembled. Most important, the user play with it and enjoys it.

Seems durable as all little tikes products...easy assembly.

The last time I bought one of these, Little Tikes made a high quality product. Obviously, some things have changed with the company, and not for the better. This version of this toy was pitiful. The quality was cheap. The plastic was thin. It all but required an engineering degree to piece it together…yes, it can disassembled and required screws to hold it together. It is not sturdy. I doubt it will last until my grandson makes it out of the toddler stage. I would not recommend buying this product. Little Tikes, if you are reading this, go back to the way you made toys 20 years ago. Your current products are cheaply made and are not quality. They will not endure the test of time.

Good size, hell difficult to put together, clips do not allign that well, screw holes some are good some just trun, average quality. I do not recommend this product personally for what it cost!! Very disappointed and will keep an eye on this as it will be in a creche and used alot!!! 4 on 10 mark!!
