Allowed me to repair an existing clock that is used for decoration (I think one person actually uses it as a clock!) without much effort.

Very simple. Battery operated. The description on the page says it does not come with a hook, but you can clearly see a hook in the picture. There was a hook in the package. The entire mechanism is held by a single nut it's pretty simple to put together. Requires a single double A battery that is installed from the rear, so be sure you can access from behind. This is a silent mechanism. It does not chime.

It was perfect for my application. Had measured the old ones. These fit exactly. Good price. Good assortment of other maybe necessary parts included.

Great replacement to bring an old broken clock new life. Looks like original. Comes with different length and style hands and I did trim the long second hand to use the style I wanted on the clock I had but no issues. Keeps time well without any loss after months of using it. Highly recommend

The clock functions, but after a month the pendulum stopped swinging.

The kit accommodated three different clock face sizes. The smallest sets of hands worked best for us. Quality was great. I had my clock up and running in minutes. The second is a nice feature.

This is the 3rd unit I purchased of this model 12888 Pendulum Clock Movement. The first one, purchased about 6 months ago was working fine until yesterday. Now, it's losing time. The pendulum movement works, but the actual clock movement won't keep accurate time any longer. The other two units - the first one installed kept time for about a week, then stopped (clock movement). I returned that one for a replacement, and the 3rd one does not work either. In all units, the pendulum movement works fine (it's a separate function from the clock), but the actual time movement either fails after a period, or doesn't work at all. Really frustrated with this situation because I have two highly treasured clocks that I thought I had found a replacement clock movement for, and these units have failed each time. Very disappointed.
