I have a 2016 Mazda CX5 and unfortunately there is no where to attach the bungees to the sides of the interior. Item pictures seem to show the bungee attached to the "oh crap" bar, but this would interfere with driver and passenger entrance and exit in the CX5. Attaching to the headrests would not work for my dog. She would be over it in a second. Might work for other cars, just not this one. My dogs will pull it down (because it's very stretchy and flexible) and jump into the front seat or push their face against it to lick my ears while I am driving. If there is someone out there like me with 3 large dogs who just want attention, don't buy this. Check your car for places where you can attach this. I have a 2009 Nissan Rouge and no matter where I attached it, it was either loose or just didn’t cover enough. My dogs constantly were able to get over or around it.
