The new casing does hold all the necessary bits from inside but the moulding isn't perfect and when I tried to use the original key blade from my key it was a struggle to make it fit the slot of the new case. A 'spare' blade was sent with the item but it doesn't work on my car so is a bit redundant and I have to use the old blade. Due to me having to use the old blade the new case doesn't completely meet up and snap together all the way round the outside and this means the lock/unlock buttons often don't properly make contact with the small rubber dots inside that make the remote work. When I first replaced the case it didn't work at all so effectively what I had was just a new case to protect the parts inside, but it is starting to work more often now, maybe because the case is 'settling'. It is definitely a tiny bit smaller than the original case, but it appears to be from a Valeo brand mould and looks good quality. I found I had to do quite a lot of scraping away of excess plastic with a small screwdriver before it would all fit together though. Not too bad for a few quid, and better buying in UK than shipping all the way from China. ### ⭐⭐ peugeot 206 2 button key fob *by D***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 August 2019* unfortunately for some reason once assembled the key as a unit would not start the car even though it worked the remote locking system . I was using the same "innards" from my existing key so am puzzled . The fob looks exactly the same as the cars original key when open ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I made the mistake of using pressure to make a perfect fit, this resulted in the open button being ... *by M***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 November 2014* This item came from France and was quite quick in arriving.My Peugeot 206 is an older model and I need to pass on a tip to other customers who may be thinking of replacing their key casing.The only part of this replacement that you need is the back. I made the mistake of using pressure to make a perfect fit, this resulted in the open button being permanently in contact with the battery which only lasted a few weeks. I then replaced the battery, only used hand pressure to cllck the front to the back, which leaves one side not completely fitting, but I could hear the on/off switches clicking when I pressed them, which meant that they were not connected to the battery.
