We used these at this year's Easter gathering. It was great hit with the little ones (2 boys under age 7). It held their interest for more than 1 hour. Not only did they enjoy digging for gem stones but tried to outdoor each other when identifying their finds! Well worth the price. We will definately buy again. 😊

This was for my cold birthday party. Everyone found the first rock immediately because it’s at the very top. Then kids spent a very long time looking for their next one only to discover there were no more. Just the absolutely tiny one at the very top. Based on the use of the plural word gemstones in the sentence “real gemstones inside each treasure chest” we expected each to contain multiple. This was not worth even half the money I spent on it. I am so frustrated about it. I really liked Dancing Bear company which is why I bought this from them. This has completely changed my opinion though and I think I’ll purchase elsewhere in the future.

I was going to be spending the weekend with my seven year old grandson and wanted something relating to pirates that was like a scavenger hunt. I ordered this and was very pleased with the quality. He loved hiding the chests. I also liked that there were small brochures that told what each stone was that was hidden in the chests. I picked up some pirate items like eye patch and pirate hat from Amazon to go with this and we had a blast!

I enjoyed this, we had this as an activity for my daughters class, 5 year olds. The tool it came with worked fine and they finished in under 10 minutes. The stones are on top close to the top so doesn’t require much digging, but the stones are small so you could miss it in a chunk of plaster. Also the plaster is very fine powder so it can get messy. I liked and would buy again but it is a tad underwhelming if you’re comparing to the photos. Also! It would be ideal if the chest was labeled underneath if you wanted to give these in goodie bags with the corresponding pamphlet but there’s no way to know which stone you have until you dig

Bought this at Christmas and what fun! We all did it- grandkids, parents and grandma. Product is well made, the kids love the adventure of digging and finding their surprise gems- Wonderful as party favors at kids events or gifts. Each treasure chest has its own shovel so you can divide them out as favors if you choose. Great purchase. Recommend!

I bought this to share with my 2 little neighbor boy and girl we get together once a month and dig in to the treasure chest for their They're keepsake Stone they're all different 12 of them the children love them and we truly have enjoyed spending time together and discussing the type of Stone the color, And the Earth's treasures

Some of the gems are very very tiny, and most are situated at the very top of the treasure box so it was to easy to chisel out. The kids had fun though.
