## Description

Stratford Ultra-Thin Feather-Light Ceiling Tiles are unlike any ceiling tile you’re ever seen… or felt. When you take the ceiling tiles out of the box you’ll be surprised by the minimal weight of their Ultra-Thin construction. Ceilume Stratford ceiling tiles are formed from a thin sheet of vinyl that is only .013” thick – about the thickness of a business card. But the Stratford’s geometric design combined with the inherent strength of vinyl makes these ceiling tiles rigid, durable, and easy to install. They don’t generate dust, they’re unaffected by moisture and they’re easy to clean. Our tiles are ASTM-E84 Class A fire rated, IAPMO recognized compliant with 2006, 2009 and 2012 International Building Code and FDA compliant for food preparation areas. They're GREENGUARD Environmental Institute Certified for Indoor Air Quality at the Children and Schools level, and fully recyclable. BUT installed you can not tell! I think they look great and the price is a bonus. You can really bend and mangle them a bit and they bounce back to their original shape and I used kids scissors to cut them. Highly impressed.

While the tiles are easy to cut, they weren’t as easy to install as I had hoped. The tiles are so thin that they will bend if you try to force them into a tight spot. That said, they’re no more frustrating than the old tiles. Just be prepared to spend time on your project. The end result will be worth it!

I was a little nervous when the box came because they are very thin and flimsy and thought no way are these going to work. BUT installed you can not tell! Ceilume tiles gave me a great result in my 20x30 ft garage, much brighter and cleaner looking than the bare rafters. But recently I replaced my commercial steel rollup door with a conventional garage door, so I need to close up roughly 20ft x 2ft of ceiling at the front of the garage where the rollup door was. I couldn't find the pattern you see in the photo; I am settling for the Stratford pattern.
