Brother 2104D Overlocker

Quality, weight, Threading difficulty , value for money, sewing ability, the Brother 2104D overlocker machine came pre setup of 4 white cones so I can't comment on the the threading and the machine net weight is 5.6 KGS the item dimensions are 33.5 cm wide,29.6 cm height,28.2 cm depth,use fine to heavy materials, maximum 1,300 stitches per minute and quality is good and sturdy recommended get the trim trap for it to catch the trimmings you can do loads of different things just look on YouTube for the Brother 2104D Overlocker and watch the threading part and sewing stuff you can disengage the the knife and sew without the cutting of the project best you test on scrap pieces of materials you are going to sew with, slightly noisy but not to loud in the sewing read the manual for more information comes with 4 cone nets,4 needles 2 at 80 and 2 at 90 for the machine, tweezers, cleaning brush, and three extra feet,1 hexagon driver for changing the needle and removing the needle comes with 2 needles pre-installed and recommend to buy the 4 extra cones of black and 4 cones of white overlocker thread on Amazon.

Was worried as had looked at videos online on how to thread but it was actually really easy. I did it a couple of times to get the muscle memory working. Machine runs lovely & so pleased with the stitch work. I personally found it difficult to move the cutter, but I did & will probably leave it trimming the fabric, but I wanted to know how to do it. It was silly things that I didn’t know such as how to lift the presser foot up - there is a lever on the right hand at the front & having never used an over locker before, didn’t know that I needed to lift the holder up above the threads (I thought it stayed on the top) but overall it was fairly stress free & easy. So pleased I bought it, just wished I’d done it sooner

I was wary of the threading system but I was recommended this one as it's so easy to thread. There is a colour coding system and a you tube video. I love it. Lovely little light machine Comes pre threaded.

Ready to use straight out the box as it’s already threaded. As a beginner who has never used an overlocker before, and been sewing for 2 months, I watched a 20 min YouTube video on this model when I opened to box, then had a go on a scrap of fabric. Within 5 mins I was confident to use on my first project. Took about 15 mins to neaten up all inside seams of a pair of jeans I upcycled. Honestly so easy to use and a game changer for making wearable and washable clothing!

Haven’t had chance to use it to its ability yet. But works well, not a lightweight machine, very sturdy. Came already threaded with 4 reels so enabled me to try out immediately. I have other Brother machines I knew it would be good quality.

I am very impressed with this brother overlocker, it was ready to sew straight from the box. The seams on the dress, looked professionally finished. I am pleased I brought this machine and now looking forward to see what else it can do.

Brilliant service from all concerned, arrived the day after I placed my order, everything that should be there is there according to the manual. The machine is neat and quite heavy for the compact size. I have not yet tried the machine out but the manufacturer is a very well known and respected company. I was pleased that the instruction booklet is in English and am looking forward to learning how to use the overlocker. The small sample sent with the machine shows beautifully neat edges and stitching.

My husband bought this for my birthday 😊, it was my first overlocker. I’m a beginner and only been sewing since Christmas 2023, I didn’t want something expensive or to complicated to use. This machine come pre threaded with 4 cones of white thread and ready to go straight out of the box, other brands I looked at didn’t come with thread or only 2 so you would have to buy another 2 to use it. the instructions and dvd were very good, and the machine worked beautifully 👍 I found it pretty straightforward to thread and this came with additional presser feet which I haven’t used yet. Overall I’m very happy with it and would recommend it 👍

Ik heb hem als een nieuwe product gekocht en betaald, maar het is niet nieuw.

mai posseduta una taglia e cuci, dopo 4 ore di studio sul manuale per capire come infilarla sono riuscita con successo ad eseguire le mie prime cuciture ed orli su tessuti impalpabili. Sono molto contenta, devo fare pratica. Il mio utilizzo e' modico quindi credo di aver acquistato un buon prodotto ad una cifra abbordabile.

Cette surfileuse fonctionne très bien. Elle coupe mes tissus à la perfection et j’ai un résultat impeccable de mes coutures.

Be ware, this shipped with a 2 prong European plug head, not suitable for our superior Irish (and UK.... I suppose) plugs out of the box.
