Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 Turbocharged for Nintendo Switch

I'm reviewing from the point of my 5yo, who is a mad Hot Wheel fan, and as a Dad who has to play the games to unlock things for him. One of the original charms of the original were the 'blind box' unlocks that the game used, but that didn't promote the use of microtransactions. This one, has clearer access to the vehicles, but requires more integration with the Nintendo Store, and therefore is a bit more predatory with trying to make you spend extra on DLC/Cars. The track builder is great, although due to the power of the Switch, it's very slow to load and a bit unintuitive. The slow loading issues permeate to all of the tracks, but once loaded, it is very responsive and the actual game itself is quite fun, and at times quite challenging. The addition of computer assistance to the game has made it far more accessible for my 5yo to play as well as his older sibling with SEN, as they spend less time bumping off of walls and feel more like they are racing.
