So easy to fit & look good - certainly beats painting. The plastic is reasonably thick and snaps onto place well by a small overlap hidden by simply rotating to the rear of the pipe. (I have seen cheaper, thinner alternatives but doubt they would last long). Overall highly recommended- I will be buying more for the rest of the house as we decorate.
