Used in a Heritage museum to support visitors with poor eyesight access some of our information signs. Volume is fine for our application. The 80 seconds recording time is perfect, any longer and we have found people wander off! We have put an extra securing point at the bottom for added security. We use Audacity to edit the tracks, it’s a free download audio mixer used in schools. The voice we use is from the read aloud feature in MS Word.

I love this product, I bought one and stuck it inside a teddy bear with a prerecorded message, its easy to use and comes with instructions, you can record your own message for longer than 30 seconds which is what I did, this product can be creative, it can be used to train dogs, it can be used to place inside stuffed animals .

I know this is sold on the basis of reminders more than anything else. However we were setting up an "Escape Room" game for children and we recorded a message to give them the next step in their quest. Recording and use is really straightforward, and the message is loud and clear. Seems to be good quality and durable.

This is easy to use. Little disappointed with the sound quality. I plugged it in to record a song and even though I’d turned the volume right down, sound was tinny and loud. I ended up playing a song on my phone and putting it down on the table next to tile which had the microphone faced down. This was the best was to record even voice without it being loud or inaudible. Once I’d figured out the best way to record it works great .

Perfect for aiding communication. Easy to use, good instructions and great value. Only issue is there is a tiny little crack on the edge, maybe a manufacturer issue.

Needed it for an art exhibition peice, it doesn't work and it's too late to get another now, I need it for 8am tomorrow, absolutely fuming, Do Not Buy!!!!! Especially as it was 15 quid absolutely disgusting

I bought this talking tile for my autistic son to use for enhancing his communication skills. I was really pleased this tile records up to 80 seconds of sound, which is considerably longer than the 10 seconds similar items allow you to record. The sound quality is far superior to other similar products and it uses AAA batteries which are easy to replace, instead of confusing watch-style batteries like other recording devices. I love that you can remove the clear cover and place a photo inside that relates to the sound it plays. There is an option to wall mount the tile as well. My son enjoys carrying his around and traveling between home and school with his. I have placed a photo of my son under the cover so everyone knows its his at school. This has been a valuable communication tool and certainly something that has helped with my son's anxiety. I highly recommend this tile over other similar products. It is excellent quality and we will get years of use from it.

My daughter used this as part of a project display to give information in Spanish about the diorama that she had built. It was a bit more expensive than I would have liked, but it was the only one we could find that fitted the bill... and she won first prize! So it has to be five stars!

Bought this for a gift for a friend, and they loved it. The cover is transparent removable, so I was able to insert a personalized image very easily. Construction is solid,speaker is clear and a good volume, but obviously lacks bass seeing as it’s very small. Audio capture is a bit tinny, but it gives you an 8th inch option to input audio directly from a source of your choosing, so you are able to improve the audio quality if that’s required. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

Separate record/play switch was perfect. My daughter wanted my lullaby when she's at her mother's, but they kept accidently setting other audio buttons to record instead of play when it was the same switch as the power. This button was perfect to have it separate, i even used my Dremel to shave the record switch down so they dont use it accidentally.

the product that I received could record music, but did not play back, so could not be used. I sent it back because this product is broken. Then I bought another product from the same company - also broken (different problem though).
