The Clapper Sound Activated On/off Switch, 1 Each

I got this to help my husband’s shoulder. It hurt to turn his lamp on and off the way he had to reach back. While there are times it’s hard to get it clapped on the good outweighs that. There are times it will come on with loud noise but again the good outweighs the bad.

It doesn't have to be a clap. I have this setting in a place where claps actually don't really reach it but it's right next to a chest. I just tapped the side of the chest twice, and it turns on the light. Pretty cool having the option to do that and especially when it's one of those lights that has the switch at the very bottom of the cord for some reason. This is exactly the solution.

It is a great gadget& easy to utilize. Good value for the money.💵

Not like ones I’ve had in past

Loved the easy way to turn Christmas tree lights on and off! Worked well. Couple times odd noises seemed to turn tree off … my do layed next to tree to chew on antler toy and the noise made the tree go off then on… actually more humorous than annoying! Would buy again.

I bought this to turn on the living room floor lamp. It plugs in behind the sofa. Unfortunately, when I sit or lie on the sofa, sometimes it misinterprets the sound as “clapping“ and turns on the light when I don’t want it to. When I do want it to, I have to position myself at a certain angle in the room so it gets good acoustics and hears my clapping properly. What can I say? This is a classic product, but the technology dates back to the 1970s. However, I found the Amazon Alexa smart plug did not last very long, so I will have to see how well The Clapper works longevity-wise.

Forget google home, forget Alexa, forget Siri. Get down with the clap. It’s the original and the best. My wife loves it when I come into a dark room and clap like welcoming the king of light. She loves it when I wake up in the middle of the night at clap to the lords of illumination with my might. For I am king of light. I am the lord of illumination. With the deft impact of my hands, I control the shadows. Darkness be gone. Like Thanos, my hands hold the power. Now and forever.

Don't bother it's not worth it. Set up was easy, but getting it to work is another thing. I installed it in my bedroom so I don't walk in the dark. I have to stand at the door to get it to come on and have to clap your hands fairly hard and do not have even a pillow in the way or it won't work at other times it will work if I cough or clear my throat. I'm very disappointed

Being in a wheelchair it really is a godsend awesome product.

It works but it is not easy. The problem is that you need to pace your claps and even then it doesn't work consistently.

It's difficult to get the right clap to turn on and shut off a lamp. You must be near the plug to make it work. My hands get sore from all the extra clapping. A big disappointment as i was hoping not to grope around in the dark.
