This is a superb and in-depth study of the Grand Budapest Hotel and is a beautiful book. If you like the film then you’ll appreciate this book. It’s not full of behind the scenes pictures or that sort of thing. It is though a fascinating and absorbing read

A beautiful book that's a plus for any Wes Anderson fan. (even aestetically it fits with the other books previously published). The minutae involved in the production of this is fantastic, exacty the kind of broderline-autistic documenting you'd hope to find from a book about WA, I'm impressed.

Really great for those who are Wes Anderson fans or general film geeks. The book really explores the film and his thought process which I found to be really insightful. A great gift for those who love film or even for yourself to take a look behind the scenes. I had bought another Wes Anderson book, however they stopped after Fantastic Mr Fox, therefore this was a great book to add to the collection

This, along with the original The Wes Anderson Collection are simply wonderful books. Beautifully produced and incredibly insightful, it caters to the serious cinema geek as well as the hip Anderson fan. Ample sized to be casually left around the house as a coffee table book, this is one I keep dipping back into to marvel at and enjoy (almost as much as the film). The author is well informed and adept and drawing out the subtleties that influence the viewer of Wes Anderson and it adds a whole new level of appreciation of the craft and attention that go into his films For anyone not yet convinced, the author has also made some short video essays of their work on Vimeo under the username rogerebert.com.

A brilliant book, perfectly printed with lush colours which proved to be a great gift for a fan of the film. Offers a good deal of insight into the making of the film. An eye-catching piece.

As this was bought as a suggested Christmas present I can't personally vouch for it but the recipient was very happy.

This is definitely a labour of love. The book is well-researched, illustrated and written. there is plenty of information in here, you won't find elsewhere. A great addition to the previous Wes Anderson Compendium - glad the movie was deemed to deserve a book in its own right!
