It can safely be put on a low setting to keep coffee warm, though this can change the flavor of the coffee. My recommendation is to pour into an insulated cup or mug to retain heat. **Q: Is this the 01 size or 02?** A: I believe this is the 01 size. That is what came with my set. I was disappointed at first when I opened it, but didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning it and it turns out to work fine for the size of the pot. **Q: Does the white one come packaged nicely as it is shown on the first picture of the red one?** A: The shipment arrived without any means of protection.
