V60 Ceramic Pour Over Coffee Set, Size 02, White

I have been using this daily for several weeks after using a Chemex for years. I have another coffee snob friend that makes amazing single origin coffee with a V60 so I wanted to try one. First, the value of a V60 is impressive. I got this ceramic set for less than the cost of a Chemex by a lot. It is an attractive addition to the coffee bar and performs well, to boot. Next, the quality of the pour over is very good. I usually buy coffee blends from local roasters. It took me about a week to get similar results as the old method. The filters for the V60 are far smaller and thinner than the Chemex so the let more nuanced flavors through. My old favorites taste a little different than they used to but that is a good thing. I am looking forward to getting some good single origin to run through it. After buying it, I watched some videos and they all said “get the plastic V60 because it heats up quicker.” There are some high level coffee snobs that tested the effect of starting with a cold V60 and it affected the taste. I preheat mine and have gotten good results. I have not tried it with a cold start so I couldn’t say if it is a factor. I do know that once it is heated up, it retains heat for a long time. This is the dripper I am speaking of. I think if I did it again I would start with the plastic one just to save some time and water in the morning. Everything else is great. The filters that came with it fit well and do the job. The dripper is easy to clean and looks good. The process added a couple of steps to what I was used to but I am getting good results. Also, I like the carafe that this came with. I only use it to catch the coffee and pour it into a cup. It is short and stout, though, and I think if I put the dripper on something like a Yeti it would be tall and heavy enough to possibly knock over easier. Maybe another claim for the plastic V60? I am looking forward to getting years’ worth of use out of this and think it was a good buy.

We love this pour over set! Not only is it beautiful but it is very functional. No durability issues so far although the glass bottom is pretty thin glass. The ceramic top is thick and a little heavier. There is a plastic gripper on the glass bottom. We have dishwasher top rack with no issues. Would re purchase, great choice!

I enjoy very much brewing my coffee with this set. I find the coffee much stronger compared with a conventional drip coffee maker.

I've been using a Kalita wave (metal) for quite some time, but after some you tubing and a desire to buy more coffee stuff and better taste my own roasts (seriously this hobby is a money pit) I went with a fairly inexpensive 02 size V60. Definitely requires more attention and accuracy than the Kalita, but I feel you get more clarity. Definitely worth the purchase. 25g in, 400g out for a 1:16 gets me about 13oz give or take. High quality, low price. This and a good grinder will get you started in specialty coffee.

Love! Makes great coffee and so easy to use! I gave up cold brewing and French press, the pour over is the way to go!

This set is lovely, looks good, works like a charm for making a pour over cup, easy to clean, and the price was just right. I appreciate the design as it is well-made, and the little glass pot is made beautifully with a no drip spout. I'm amazed that it has yet to drip one drop after pouring. The measurements on the glass pot are accurate as well. Love this set!

This is perfect for pour-over coffee if you handle it carefully. After about three weeks of daily use, I broke the carafe while washing it with a bottle brush. I know I'm a Chad, but that's too brittle for something that has to be washed after every use. I'm confused by the inclusion of a scoop, too, because any tryhard who makes pour-over coffee will weigh the beans, not measure the grounds. If you buy this kit, then resell the carafe to one of the many customers who broke theirs and instead place the cone over a mug or steel carafe.

I LOVE this so much! It has become a peaceful, morning ritual to make myself a pourover. And it is SO MUCH SMARTER to use the little carafe than to just put the ceramic holder over a coffee cup. A perfect set!

Ürünü sanırım 3 yıldır kullanıyorum. Nereden başlasam bilemiyorum ama çok severek kullandığım bir demleme ekipmanı. İlk olarak Aeropress Go ile başladım nitelikli kahve serüverine. Bunu aldıktan sonra neredeyse hiç kullanmadım diğerini. Kahvenin tadı çok daha temiz ve net kesinlikle. Sadece kahvenin en lezzetli halini bunla keşfettim. Rengi de aeropress'e göre berrak oluyor. Bununla birlikte sanırım orta seviye sayılabilecek timemore nano öğütücüyü ve kettle olarakta kuğu boyunlu, kendinden termometreli bir ürün seçtim. Haftasonu tatillerimde sabah müzik dinleyerek kahve demlemek nedense bana aşırı keyifli geliyor :) basit şeylerle mutlu olmak ne güzel...

Klein, fein, prima für eine Person die einen Becher Kaffee möchte. Der Porzellanfilter passt bestens auf einen Becher, so dass das Kännchen gar nicht benötigt wird. Ist aber im Karton ein schönes Geschenkset zum Sofortstart.

Caffè fantastico. Il set arriva completo con caraffa in vetro, tazza-imbuto in ceramica, l' apposito misurino e una buona quantità di filtri. Ceramica e vetro sono molto eleganti e piacevoli al tatto. Il manico di plastica della brocca consente di non scottarsi. Bellissima anche la confezione di cartone, perfetta anche per un regalo. Questa è una misura 1 e può contenere fino a 300 ml di caffè. Serve, ovviamente, un caffè macinato grosso, come quello per il caffè all'americana. L' avevo presa come sfizio, ma ha sostituito egregiamente la moka. Per un risultato ottimale conviene inserire il filtro e versare acqua bollente, in modo da ammorbidire e pulire la carta e scaldare il tutto. Poi il caffè, un poco di acqua bollente al centro e dopo una trentina di secondi il resto, con movimenti circolari. In tre minuti è pronto.

A decent price for a set of coffee dripper made in Japan. The ceramic dripper and glass coffee pot are beautiful and in great quality. I love this set very much!!
