Can these be used on loft ladders with a stile end?

Hi, sorry they are not compatible with loft ladders

Can the smaller dimension of 25mm be trimmed? The stiles of my ladder measure 64 x 18mm internally.

Yes, the material can be cut fairly easily with a sharp (Stanley) knife or small hacksaw to any size you need - you don't have to follow the predetermined guide slots. My ladder stiles measure 18 x 60mm with a 45 degree double splay at one end. Measuring took a bit of care but the material presented no problems. A am very pleased with this product.

Dimensions for rubber inserts (ie. the bits that go in the ends of the ladder for it to safely stand on) are 3 dimensional. Why do I only see 2?

Internal sizes for the part that inserts into the ladder foot are : 87.25mm (L) x 23.40mm (W) x 24.5mm (H)
