Essential for some
If you're into video, and I mean seriously, then this is for you and it's great value considering what it can do. If you take time, it's noticeably better to use ND filters. They are good quality. Yes they work for their function very well, but can be fidgety if you're impatient and just wanting to get shots quickly. If you're using the Osmo Pocket 3 for casual shooting or a hobby, it's only a nice to have item. If you're a proper videographer or keen vlogger, it' might be essential.

Must have for all videographers
This is a must have if you’re after a cinematic look with the osmo pocket. The only downside is you can’t stack it with an ND filter. I don’t think there is a 3rd party brand that has that feature either.

Softens images and reduces contrast, creating a more cinematic or dreamy look.
A high-quality Black Mist filter from DJI for their Pocket 3 camera. This filter softens images and reduces contrast, creating a more cinematic or dreamy look. It achieves this by scattering light, softening highlights, and adding a subtle glow around light sources. I do think the price could be a bit cheaper, as it price does sit way ahead of other good filters out there.
