Time Resolution is 5 Seconds (Not 1 Second) / Update: Firmware Solution is Available
This temperature logger is a nice unit. I like the looks, interface, and functionality. Unfortunately, this unit is only good for slow temperature fluctuations as it will not refresh the temperature faster than 5 seconds. It does record data at 1 second intervals (as advertised), but the actual resolution is 5 seconds. This is apparent when you are measuring temperatures that are quickly changing, the log records the same temperature for 5 consecutive seconds, and then the temperature jumps (in my case 4-5 degrees C) and stays flat again for another 5 data points. I reached out the to manufacturer and they tell me that the unit is operating normally. I'm having to massage the data in a spreadsheet to create an average/smoothed curve, but it's not ideal. UPDATE: I was contacted by the manufacturer. They worked with me to better understand the issue. I have since been given a firmware update (version 1.15) which enables the unit to refresh & log data as low as 1 second intervals. I am now very happy with the device since the update! Thank you!

Versatile Dual-Channel Logging with Solid Accuracy
We tested the Tzone TC602 dual-channel data logger for some HVAC and lab-style temperature tracking, and it is a very capable system for the price. The interface is clean, and the ability to track two probes simultaneously—complete with a T1-T2 calculation function—is almost mandatory for many industrial or engineering scenarios. In terms of accuracy, we spot-checked the unit against another calibrated K-type thermometer, and the results were very consistent. The build quality is decent; it feels solid enough for workshop use, though it doesn't quite reach "heavy-duty industrial" status. The user interface is mostly intuitive, but we did have to consult the manual a few times to navigate some of the deeper settings. A few things to note from our testing: Graphing & Auto-Off: The system features a nice graphing mode on the LCD. However, we found that if the unit auto-shuts down to save battery, the graphing stops. This is likely adjustable in the "auto-off" settings, but it's something to watch out for if you need a continuous visual log. Probe Limits: The included K-type probes are rated for up to 300°C. While the device itself can handle much higher temperatures (up to 1372°C), the insulation on the stock probes isn't designed for extreme heat. For high-temp oven work, you’ll want to swap them for fiberglass-insulated probes, which we confirmed work perfectly with this unit. Data Logging: A significant feature of this unit is that it can generate PDF, CSV, and XLS reports automatically when plugged into a PC via USB without needing proprietary software. While we did not test this specific functionality extensively—as it isn't a primary part of our usual workflow—it is certainly a nice feature to have for those who need to document long-term data. Overall, this is a well-featured system that provides professional-level logging at a hobbyist-friendly price point. We give it 4 stars.

Product stopped logging properly after 4 months!
Product worked well for 4 months then it stopped logging properly and files cannot be accessed or downloaded. Not happy with purchase as it is no longer functional.

Does the job.
Body plastic might be better quality. Probes looks fragile. But in general works fine. Navigation is intuitive.

A useful data logger that outputs your choice of file formats
I've got mixed feelings about this unit. Ultimately it does what I need it to do, which is to create data logs in one second increments of two different thermocouples. But it does it with an awkward user interface. There is no record button on the front of the device. Instead you have to dig into the menu to turn the logging on and to turn it off. Which is kind of stupid. Another annoying thing is that there is a nice little graph mode that can show the temperature trends in real time but only for one of the temperature probes at a time. And you have to dig into the menus to cycle through which probe is displaying. This is a potentially useful what kind of half baked feature. Where it is very useful is that it creates log files in CSV PDF XLS once it's done recording. And you can hook this up to your Mac or PC and offload that file. I have another logger that is almost good but is terrible because it requires a PC app to offload the data and then create the files. This one doesn't require a PC app to do the conversion. That being said when I imported a CSV file, some of the columns weren't correctly populated. One thing that I haven't tracked down the reason for yet is why it would not connect to my computers with a regular usb-c to usb-c cable. Instead I had to use their cable, and it worked fine. And I'm not sure why that is. But until I track down what the issue is come all have to keep a hold of that cable specifically just for this unit. It might just be something simple like it needs to be USBC USBA for some reason. But I do wish it worked with USB C to USB C out of the box. The temperature difference between the two probes is a little outside of these claimed certification for half degree accuracy. But that's not an unusual difference for thermocouples.

The built quality is questionable.
My first order got lost in transit but the seller replaced it quickly. The probes are not the best they were falling apart after just one use. It unit seems to be working ok but only time will tell how well it does.
