Top quality
Had a pair of these for over 2 years and never had an issue. Used in a variety of Indoor and Outdoor applications and they always seem to cut through well. Sometimes I've reinforced them with a subwoofer for larger venues, but anything between around 50-250 these are perfect. Mostly using them for vocal / karaoke bar work and DJing.

technical design problem
There's a technical problem with these units. You can read about it various places on the net, and you notice it immediately you use them. They revert quickly (after 3s or 4s) to some kind of sleep mode. Then, when you start playing, it takes them half a second to wake up. The first note is ruined, because it ramps up from nothing to full volume over that half second. That doesn't matter in many cases, but in some it's a real pain. It means you can't start anything with a bold first note or chord. Just buy something else that works properly. There are lots of alternatives that don't have this problem. It's a real shame, because otherwise these would be good all round active speakers. ps: if anyone has a fix for this, let me know.
