I have to admit, I didn’t even know these were a thing. I do some CNC milling in my workshop and from time to time have a small popout in a wood item where I would insert a picture or some other item and then need to close the panel in the back. I’ve experimented with framing points and tiny magnets and all sorts of other MacGyverisms (the original series, not the reboot which is awful) to keep the panel secured. It didn’t even dawn on me to use these, which have been on picture frames for the last 1000 years. They are metal and as durable as any others I’ve come across over the years. They attach easily and securely and perform as well as I hoped they would. The finish seems durable, but they are hidden anyway and unless you are opening and closing them many times, these should last forever. Just don’t over-torque the screws. I am a woodworked and often make my own frames. These are great for holding paper or whatever into a frame. Not sure what to say other than you can't go wrong for this price. Am pleased with this.

since the custom framing is expensive, I bought few farmed art pieces from HomeSense and re-used these frames for my own art. these fasteners did the job of keeping the art pieces in place.

Would be nice if the screws were in their own bag so it’s easier to get them. Second time purchasing the screws are breaking off. Too late for a return 😡
