Bass is there just as it should, it goes has great extension, the mids are present and accounted for, the highs are pleasing and not tiring.They did make the build a little cheaper than the 56, the cord is nothing to brag about they are just typical. they seem well made for the price and are great for on the go in a bag and you don't have to worry about breaking or loosing them at this price point. I would go out on a limb and say, these are a beats killer! better sound and have just as much style, if it had a thicker cable it would be even better. If you need a great pair of low priced IEMs these will do great for you. I don't have any complaints. In all my years of in-ear headphones, I've never had this happen before.
