Very Good System
Bought this system because we moved to a rural area with a water well. Even though the water tested very well, and we have a conditioner, we wanted the best taste possible, so we got this system. Aquasana came highly recommended in out local area, so it was an easy decision. Installation required drilling a hole in our granite top. If you're not particularly handy or confident, hire this out. I did it myself and it came out perfect. Installation, overall, went very well. Pay attention to the instructions and the connection diagram, and once you understand how it is supposed to work, it's easy to make the connections properly. It has been connected for five months now with absolutely no leaks, noises, or gurgling, as has been reported. Of course, you only get about a gallon of pure water until the pressure drops low enough that it's time to shut the valve to let the tank re-pressurise. Overall, it works great and seems to have been worth the money. Water tastes great, especially for our coffee each morning. We keep a gallon pitcher full on the kitchen counter regularly. Highly recommend.

Leaks like a sieve
Do not follow instructions. They are bad. Read them, then layout where things need to go before drilling anything. Don't cut any if the tubes. You will not need to. Then when you've got it all laid out, pack it back up in the box and return it. Main unit leaks badly under pressure. (and no, it isn't over pressured) See images: all stages had the small damage to them (superficial) and stage 2 had damage that should not have left the factory. That is plastic squeezing out, not paper or foreign debree. It was missaligned when pressed together, and what do you know, leaks badly. All other connections are good, but are cheap. Faucet that comes with has a "washer" that goes under the sink side, and holds everything in place with a nut. But the washer tolerances are too tight and will cut the tube easily if not modified. Basically they did not account for the tube when the washer was sized, so it just doesn't fit. I had to file 1/16 an inch off and round off the little nubs to get it to go on and not be pressing into the rube in a dangerous way. Pain in the behind. All that and the stages (filters) leak. They are poor quality overall in apperance as others have noted, but cosmetics don't bother me. But it does show a very low level of quality control and results in a watery mess in kitchens like mine after install. I will attempt to replace that stage and get reimbursed or refunded and update this review when there is more info. For now I can't recomend buying this product because out of the box it has poor instructions, malfunctioning pieces, bad design, and a catastrophic failure. Looks okay though.

Extremely clean water
I have an older house with galvanized pipes. The person working on my plumbing suggested I get a reverse osmosis system, so I read a lot of reviews and chose this one as being effective and reasonably priced, and did not require an electrical plug under the sink. (No electricity is required.). The plumbing person then installed it for me, cutting a little hole in my steel sink’s rim for the tap so I did not have to give up my sprayer hose. The water tastes very clean, and after some research I feel it is safer than tap water coming through my old plumbing. For my friend it was not difficult to install, although I would not have attempted it myself. The canister should be completely emptied of water every two weeks, and a bleach solution poured through every 6 months upon changing the filter; the company’s site has instructions, and there is much information online about these things. One thing to get used to is the gurgling noise, but it is as easy to block out, the way you block out fridge or A/C noise, after a week or so. Additionally, it takes up over half my under-sink space, something you may want to plan ahead for. Overall, very delighted with this product.

DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT A POOL IN YOUR HOME
One of the worst purchases I have ever made on Amazon. I only purchased after my brother-in-law thought it might be a good buy for the price. When I went to install, it was missing pieces that made the install impossible. I was able to get the missing parts from the company but this delayed the install by another week... after the 30 day Amazon return window. Once installed, the system has a massive leak from the manifold system. In trying to find solutions to the issues, I called customer service who told me I wasn't eligible for a return under their 90-day guarantee since I bought it through Amazon. I then went online only to discover that there is a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against the company for home damage associated with the systems leaking. After countless wet towels and mopping, I've uninstalled the unit, repaired the pipe that I had to drill a hole threw during the install, and thrown the unit in the garbage. I cannot recommend strongly enough against buying this product, and if you're foolish enough to do so, do NOT buy it on Amazon as the company won't stand by it. There's a reason why the call line takes hours to get through... just look at the product. The only upside to this purchase is that I can hassle my brother-in-law over recommending it without actually reading the other reviews and online concerns about this horrible product.

Great Filter System
I have used this filter system for several years now and have no complaints. I did extensive research to find a good reverse osmosis system that wasn't too expensive, not too wasteful, and easy to use. I did have a plumber install it so I can't remark about ease of installation. It has worked perfectly for years now. I love the taste of the water due to the remineralization. The filters are easy to change, easy to find to reorder and not cost prohibitive. Yes, there may be better systems, but this has worked perfectly for our family's needs at a decent price

We followed all the instructions, the faucet started to leak six months after its first usage. We called the company and they were able to help us on the spot. It is fixed! Thanks!!
