Initial Review - Great Watch
Excellent Pedometer/Watch for the price. This is an initial review after about 3 days of use. The watch was easy to configure. The pedometer seems to be very accurate. The backlight is adequate. The chime is louder than other watches and would work well as an alarm. Highly recommended at this point. Update: 8/13/24: Pedometer seems to miss some steps. It records approximately 5% fewer steps than my other pedometer watch. The display is large and readable in all conditions. I like the fact that the current steps counter is displayed with the time. Still recommended.

Bought as a motivator for my Mom to get more steps
Was looking for a watch to get my 90+ year old Mom motivated to walk more and set some step goals. This watch checked a lot of the boxes - no smartphone or other smart devices required to use it, simple to use, big legible numbers, and the step count auto resets at midnight My Mom also has small wrists - this watch is big enough to see easily but not too big - and the band has LOTS of holes allowing you to adjust it for a person with small wrists.

Bad Instructions
Instructions are not clear, and it is difficult to start the watch. I tried several times and never got the watch to start. Have returned the watch.

Ease of use
This Pedometer works well when not indoors--places with little windows. The set up was not difficult but the video made more since than the written instructions. It's not hard to use the functions, once you get use to the system. I do like that there is a 24hr mode option and the face mode can be changed from the main time in large print to the steps in a secondary time showing the date and time, the steps in large numbers and the time at the bottom. It's not bad for the price, just takes getting use too.

weird step counter results
I have had smart watches and have come to dislike the constant recharging and issues with lifespan (my Fitbits lasted about a year) so I decided to try this watch with buttons and not touch screen which doesn't work when wet or with my fingers. The watch looks fine, the controls are straight forward but the step counter is weird. Instructions are to wear it on your wrist. When I do that it counts the first 20 or 30 steps accurately then starts skipping steps. I suspected it was missing steps on a 5 K walk I do daily so I started counting steps while walking. Here is the weird thing, If I walk swing my arms like most people do when walking then it skips steps. If I put my watch hand in my pocket it accurately counts steps. Put it on your swinging arm and loose up to 20% of steps taken. Put it in your pocket and the step counter magically works as it should. Other than this strangeness it is a fine watch.

Wrist Pedometer
This was a gift for my husband. He really likes how well the display shows up, as well as it being waterproof. He said it was really easy to set up. It measures steps accurately. It is not a fit bit though. It does not measure sleep habits & etc...just steps.
