It will reduce emissions, increase fuel mileage and the total miles on the powerplant (engine) will close to double. Synthetic does not have a tendency to "burn" in the crankcase. Conventional does and that's why you get crude build up in the crankcase. I have a Master's in Automotive Engineering from Colorado and I had to do a dissertation on lubricating oils. Synthetic oils were just plain better in every way.
