Great for Steam Deck + Portable Monitor
I have this hooked up to my Steam Deck, with a mouse, keyboard, and portable monitor. With the correct cables and strong enough power supply it works perfectly and connects to my 1440p portable monitor while charging the device at the same time. I also have this hooked up to my laptop with the same peripherals and haven't noticed any issues (unlike some Dell docks that constantly disconnect.) My only issue is it has 3 USB A ports, I would have preferred an extra non DP alt mode USB C port but it is what it is. Overall, very much worth it. Great value in comparison to the official Steam Deck Dock if you are looking for something that is more portable and cheaper than equivalents (something like a Thunderbolt 4 dock/hub)

Does the job but take care with cable choice.
Having got an ASUS MB16ACV (a USB C portable monitor) I had the problem that I couldn't use it with my Samsung Tab S7 plus as it wasn't providing the power. Adapters that pass through alt DP over USB C and have a power input seem very rare, this device looked like the perfect answer but initially it didn't work. I had an Anker USB C cable that worked from the laptop to my screen but nothing from this device, so initially assumed problem with the adapter, however I saw that it said 10Gpbs on the video output port of the adapter so wondered if it was fussy about the cable, even though it doesn't need that fast. I bought a 10Gbps cable (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09J9BXFFD?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) and it works perfectly. So if you are struggling to get it to work, consider a newer cable before giving up. It also works with my Xperia 1 VI, although currently screen output is vertical (hopefully just need to find right config). It's a bit expensive but if you are trying to solve the same problem as me, it does the job.

Supports alt mode video and PD pass through
I got this to provide power to a MS surface whilst having a monitor connected to the same USB C. It works flawlessly with the Alt mode video and PD pass through. It fast charges the surface while the display works as expected. The USB connector could do with being longer as its very short and leads to the adapter hanging off the side of the surface. It's also quite expensive for the number of ports etc as there are only 3 additional USB3 A ports, no network, no hdmi etc. The item is robust and is probably worth the cost given I have a number of other USB C hubs that cannot support PD or Alt mode video.

It just works
I bought this to pair with my Rog ally and xreal air 2. It just works. I can charge the ally while using the headset and can plug a keyboard also other usb devices in without having to worry about ports. Haven't had a problem so far.

Turned into a useless paperweight within 24 hours
Worked for a couple of hours, would then intermittently disconnect any devices that were connected to it after 30 minutes or so, then within 24 hours of receiving it it failed to connect to anything, either via the alt mode port or the USB A ports, or deliver power so it’s completely D E A D, not what you’d expect from somebody who says they sell pro grade products, even cheap stuff tends to last more than 24 hours; pretty disgraceful honestly!

Expensive but invaluable if you need it!
This isn't cheap and there are similar things available at much lower price. But the power pass through is useful and the additional USB-A slots are great if travelling with just your laptop. I also have a ugreen usb-c which arguably offers more connection options at a lower price. I still feel this to be a great device however.

Work with my iPad Pro with external monitor (but not 4K)
First of all, now my iPad Pro can finally link to a portable USB-C monitor, while charging my iPad Pro. With Apple Magic Keyboard, the power supply is not enough if iPad Pro is used to power the monitor, and you are watching movie and playing game at the same time. I tested with 1080p 15.6 inch portable monitor, with games that can even overheat my iPad if I set graphic to high or run with 120 fps (well, I guess most of you can guess which 2 games I am talking about). Anyway, it is sad that in the market, so hard to find a usb-c hub with usb-c video output. What I am looking for is a usb-c hub with, let's say, 2 usb-c video output, and in total 6 usb-c port. Thunderbolt 4 hub is too expensive, and a lot of ports that I am not using at all! Like USB-A, HDMI ... Hopefully in the coming years, when more and more USB-C devices available, we will see some value-for-money usb-c hub with usb-c video output. Update 1: Well, it is not working well with a 4k external monitor. My iPad can power it without this hub, but with this hub it only last 15 mins, then no longer works. So if you are only working with 1080p, or maybe 2k, then no problem, but 4k level … eventually it will not work. And from the actual size, it is pretty mini, so it is understandable that it might break when approaching the maximum capacity. Furthermore, instead of charging iPad and using this hub to power monitor, why not power USB-C monitor and using monitor to power iPad? Once I realised that, there is only one answer left for what I should do: grab a portable monitor with 2 full usb-c port.

This is a well built product, the connectors are premium quality and the cables are rigid. I have been using this for about 3 weeks with various mini PCs, laptops and the pass-thru video quality to an external monitor is top notch and the speed of detection is impressive. I don’t do gaming therefore I can’t comment on that.

Permet d’alimenter un écran externe depuis un IPad air M2 via USB C et alimenter l’Ipad sur secteur. Pas facile à trouver un Hub avec un port usbc vidéo output. Je recommande.

Finding a USB C dock/hub that supports power delivery and DP Alt Mode for USB C monitors is challenging. This is one of those devices. My goal was to use the Lenovo M14T portable monitor with my Samsung phone in DeX mode and still have the ability to plug in a USB super-speed device (keyboard, mouse, etc.) or three. This dock delivered. I hope to forego my laptop and use the portable monitor with my phone, saving a lot of weight.
