This worked perfectly. It was the only outdoor waterproof timer with a straight plug instead of a sideways plug. The straight plug would work with any outdoor outlet. It is easy to setup as long as you read the directions. It kept up with the accurate time for turning on my Christmas lights. Very happy with this product.

This electrical timer will work great outdoors for lights. It doesn't work for what I bought this for, which is for a golf cart charger. My golf cart charger automatically turns off when full charged. You have to unplug it from power for it to turn back on so I bought this for that purpose, to turn the power off and then come back on. It does that but for some reason the charger does not start working. I have to literally unplug it from the golf cart and then plug it back into the golf cart for the charger to start working. I tried a different timer and it does the same thing, so it must have something to do with the golf cart charging system. It works great for lights so I still give it a 5 star. It is easy to use and is well made and is water proof. If you are looking for an outside electrical timer, then I can recommend this one. You will not be disappointed.

Easy to use

Very easy to use. Cord could be a little longer, but overall, great product.

I already had a 2 outlet timer of this type, but my 3 outlet one was a light detection one, so I could not sync all of the Christmas lights on the outside of the house. With this one, I can set them all to come on and turn of at the same time. This has little plastic pins at 15 minute intervals, and a dial to set present time. Turn the dial to set the correct time, push the pins down for the times you want lights to be on, pins up for when you want lights off. Plug it into an outdoor 3-prong outlet, plug light strings into the 3 outlets, and you are good to go. I used these for lights around the roof-line, and made sure there was a drip-loop before the plug ins, so rain and melting snow will not get into the outlet. It has worked great for over a month, even with over a foot of snow on the ground, preceded by rain and other rounds of snow. Comes on and goes off at precise times indicated. My other timer I have used for 3 seasons, with no trouble at all. Easy to use, set it and forget it. Just don't forget to unplug it at the end of the Christmas season, because it will keep on turning them on and off forever!

Great outdoor mechanical timer. Previously used RF remote controlled set timers for turning on/off holiday displays but this year had random on, off times with it. This may be due to interference. Another problem with them was with set time of 4/6/8 hours I had to turn be there and turn them on exactly at the right time. This great working mechanical time eliminates all those problems. Highly recommended.
