A few things I have used this to measure, our windows for new custom blinds which fit beautifully. Also used to measure for new counter top estimate. Professional was impressed by how close we were in our measurements, we were only off because we did not deduct for cut out area like sink and stove. I would highly recommend this item. Review: Very easy to use, but quality, recommended!! - I would highly recommend this product! It is very small, a lot smaller than I expected and fits inside your hand nicely. It is very easy to use and has far too many settings to explain but you can change from measuring distances, to areas and where the measuring point is and in what measurement, metres, feet etc... It was such a good price for a decent product and it comes with a decent and easy to understand manual to be able to understand and use all the settings of the measure. Very pleased, many thanks.

Easy to use and accurate
Have been doing some major remodeling in our house. This item has saved me a tone of time. Easy to use and accurate. A few things I have used this to measure, our windows for new custom blinds which fit beautifully. Also used to measure for new counter top estimate. Very easy to use, but quality, recommended!!
I would highly recommend this product! It is very small, a lot smaller than I expected and fits inside your hand nicely. It is very easy to use and has far too many settings to explain but you can change from measuring distances, to areas and where the measuring point is and in what measurement, metres, feet etc... I am not an expert but this one really does the job
I wanted a way to measure a room for renovations. I am not in the trade, just for personal use. This neat laser measure really does the job. I checked the measurements and very accurate too. Definately recommend.

Seemed accurate, but stopped working after a few weeks
Nice size, seemed accurate. The 'measure' button was never reliable, needing several hard presses to actually make a measurement. Within a month of purchase it's stopped functioning altogether, won't power on - I guess the power/measure button has totally failed. Returning it to Amazon for refund.

Saves a lot of time and energy for a one man job. Also reliable and accurate! Would recommend for DIY!

Dead on arrival
Unfortunately the item did not power on. Tried several sets of batteries but did not work. I see some have had the same experience, and no doubt there is a problem in the power switch with some of these items. Unfortunately given it did not work I have no option but to give it a low rating. Nothing against the supplying company, i have returned the item and not asked for a replacement as I have found it easier and safer to order a different one.
