As a devoted Spigen case user across multiple devices, I eagerly picked up the Tough Armor case for my Pixel 8 Pro, and once again, it doesn't disappoint. This case maintains the brand's legacy of excellence in protection and adds a touch of convenience. Spigen's cases have consistently provided top-tier protection for my devices over the years. With a protective lip around the screen and ample coverage for the back and sides, it ensures security without compromising functionality and is reliable and long lasting. Across my other phones, and now the Pixel 8 Pro, Spigen cases have lasted 3-5 years without fail, safeguarding my phones from drops, scrapes, and more. It's a practical, durable, and cost-effective choice compared to pricier alternatives like Otterbox. The case might add a tad of bulk, but it's barely noticeable, keeping the phone's weight almost unchanged and adding extra protection for a $1,000 phone and seamlessly supports wireless charging. What's remarkable is how it shields both the screen and camera, preventing them from touching any surface when laid down. That's a level of assurance I truly appreciate. Although the inclusion of a kickstand seems gimmicky it has been useful and convenient on my other Spigen cases when needed. Otherwise, when it is recessed, you don't even notice it. Medium bulk - not Defender-series bulky, not uselessly thin Lip around screen deep enough for glass screen protector plus some more to rotect that I feel 100% confident about dropping this thing It's not flashy, still looks good and not cheap Just enough grip but slides in and out of pocket Still allows wireless charging Added bonus kickstand If anything breaks it will be the kickstand, but I've never had that not happen, and also I don't use it really so IDC (and it may not even break, IDK about these things) Honestly I was hesitant to buy this case when there are so many in the $10-15 range that look good. But I got one of those and it seems decent but just a tad too slim, and the lip around the screen was a little too small for a screen protector. I didn't hate it but didn't love it. Decided to try out this one and I'm really glad I did. Honestly, think about how much your phone cost and then consider whether a one-time $20-30 is worth protecting that. I feel like I re-learn this lesson every new phone and I'm glad I remembered this before karma or whatever taught it to me. If you like the style of this case from the pictures and are looking for good protection, this case is a win.

This is not my first go-around using a Spigen product. In fact I have used their cases now on 4 different phones. I have had the Rugged Armor Cases and the Tough Armor Cases. I like both for different reasons. The Rugged Armor Case is slimmer while still providing good protection. It looks and feels good. Texturing and materials make it easy to have a good, solid grip on your phone without worrying about it slipping out of your hand. The Tough Armor Case is just a bit bulkier. But it does provide a little more protection too. I do have bigger hands and I do like the looks and feel of it as well. It is easy and comfortable to grip. But the texture and materials make it a tad more "slippery". The Tough Armor Case also gives you a little flip-out kickstand to prop the phone while watching videos. Based on my experience, you can not go wrong with the Spigen cases. I'll admit that I have dropped my phones using both cases. And none have suffered any damage. On that note, I also use 9H Tempered Glass screen protectors too.

I'm very pleased with the Spigen case for my pixel 8 pro phone. The case fits perfectly and my phone is very well protected all around the edges and back. What is really good also is the inside of the case has a foam insert for added protection of the back of my phone. I took away one star because the little kick stand is for landscape only and very cheaply made and could easily break. Despite this flaw by designer, the case is well worth keeping because it's great protection for cellphones. The thickness and grip is excellent and the buttons are very easy to press.

I've had this case on my phone for a while now, and all I can say is that it's one of the best that I've ever purchased. It hasn't cracked or discolored, the few times that I've dropped my Pixel 8 Pro it hasn't taken any damage, the buttons are functional, and unlike the Otterbox cases that I normally buy this one doesn't add a lot of bulk to the phone, meaning that I can still slip it in in my pocket or a normal phone holder without too much issue. The material is slip resistant, but not "sticky," meaning that I don't struggle to take it out of my holster when using it at work, unlike the rubbery finish of the Otterbox cases. It doesn't interfere with Qi wireless charging, and I literally have no reason to ever remove it. My one and only complaint is that the stand on the back only works in landscape viewing, and is basically useless for keeping it up in profile mode. Caveats: I don't use "Magsafe" products, so if this is or isn't compatible with those sorts of products I have absolutely no idea. Although my job is fairly physical, my phone only gets moderate abuse, so if you're working in a high-risk profession like construction I don't know if it will hold up.

I absolutely love this case! It did make the phone slightly bigger but added very little weight. No matter how I lay my phone down, it keeps the screen and camera from touching that surface. It's the first case that I have owned that has a little kickstand which is awesome! It's so convenient when watching YouTube, Hulu or having meeting through one of the many communication apps out there. My only thing is that I wished it came in other colors. The color I ordered is true to the description and looks good. I just prefer something brighter so it makes my phone easier to find. I do love this brand for my devices as they have always held up well. I used a Spigen case for my Pixel 2 XL, my Pixel 6 Pro and now my Pixel 8 pro. I also have used their other phone accessories like screen protectors. I am not disappointed with this product and would recommend it if you want a better level of protection without so much bulk!

I have always used Spigen cases. And it never failed me. Although I already have Spigen's Liquid Air case for my Pixel 8 Pro, but I wanted to have maximum protection, and this Tough Armor will meet that need. The case is really tough and made well (Made In Korea). It is slightly bulkier and heavier than Liquid Air, but it will protect much better. (FYI, Liquid Air is no slouch - it does provide a good protection - it has sufficient lips to protect the phone all around and has certified military grade drop protection, but thin and light). This case fits like a glove, and unassuming kick-stand option is a great accessory. Recommended!

For my last Pixel refurbished phone (a 6 Pro), I bought a transparent Otterbox case. I don't know if there was something inherently wrong with the phone or the case didn't protect it well enough; but that phone only lasted 11 months before the screen unresponsive. I decided to try a different case from another major phone-case brand for my "new" refurbished Pixel 8 Pro instead of going for the "pretty" case. This Spigen one is really great. It's easy to install the phone in it, but holds it tightly. It feels good in my hand--I like the surface texture that makes the phone easier to grip and feels good in my hand. It's not too big. The power button and volume buttons respond nicely under the cover. It has just enough of a raised edge to protect the screen and camera lenses. I like the reinforcing framework on the inside of the case. The little kickstand is only useful for horizontal setup, but it will be useful when all I want to do is watch a video on the phone. My newest Pixel is obsidian color, so the slate gray case compliments the phone color nicely. The case is smooth enough that I was able to put a small travel sticker on it to add a personal touch. I would prefer having a more colorful case, but I have found that having good protection is more important than anything else. Hopefully this phone will last longer with this sturdier case. I am very happy with this purchase.
