The output will be heard on your guitar amplifier. **Q: Is there a way to change patches on this board via midi control form an external midi device, i.e. a sequencer or daw?** A: One of the big good thing about the rp 360 is that you can use as usb interface for most of the daw like audacity and it coming with it own software (nexus) where you can creat and modified patchs... **Q: Will this work with my Wireless Guitar set up?** A: Yes, you basically run the reciever to the pedal board instead of wherever else you woul normally hold it. Also if you're using a loudspeaker system with sound board, you don't necessarily need an amp. The board has an amp built in. I use it through a mixer and it is great: L Line out to mixer + Guitar to Input. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it *by T***T on April 13, 2017* For the money, I think this is one of the best value effects processors out there. In my old gigging days and until I retired, I was a tube amp guy. I had vintage Fender Deluxe Reverbs and I got into putting together and customizing tweed era Fender amps from parts and personally used a tweed Super and a Bandmaster. (I also had an Allen Old Flame, think 50w Twin Reverb with 2x10") I can get close enough tone and 'feel' wise of all my tube amps that I'll give Digitech two thumbs up on their vintage Fender models. Beyond that, for someone who's looking to put together a very flexible and lightweight gigging and practice rig.. this box along with the 3 button auxiliary footswitch, should get you that. To my ears, this thing sounds great plugged into a clean amp and/or plugged direct into a PA. I'm reading reviews about players who are using this box as their amp plugged directly into the PA and I can now see myself using it that way sometime in my future.I'm running the RP-360 into an old Carvin SX-50 and into the effects loop of a Quilter 101 mini head. As I said above, I'm very happy with the Fender tones and feel I get through both amps. I fronted a blues band for years and gigged with a Deluxe Reverb and a Boss OD-1.. and the only reason I used the OD-1 was because I couldn't crank the DR up to 7-8 and use the guitar's volume control to go from clean to OD. I've got that rig in one patch given the RP360 is in footswitch mode.One of the reasons I choose the RP360 over Zoom's similar pedal is the Nexus editor and library software. I had problems getting the update to run using a newer Windows 10 computer. I did contact Digitech's tech support and they responded within a few hours and we had a dialog through 3 different fix try's. Coming from a tech support background myself, I thought to try loading the upgrade from an older Window's 10 laptop and it worked on the second try. So thumbs up to Digitech from me for their tech support. Love the Nexus tool... check it out on youtube.There are lots of reviews out there on this box. I won't go into any further specifics beyond, it does what it says it does and pretty well for something it's size. As a roots music type player, it's a really cool option for me now and the less rig I have to haul to a gig and set up, the happier I am. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very portable *by R***O on June 12, 2019* This is a great pedal if you're trying to make your set up quick and easy. Also there are tons of sounds, guitar/amp modeling effects you can spend hours upon hours on! And has an onboard looper which goes great for practicing by yourself and a nice lil headline jack. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Complete Package *by R***N on May 8, 2014* I have been a Digitech user since '03 from RP50 to RP150 and now the RP360. They have upped the ante on this one the available models are the same as what is included in their RP1000 flagship.Soundwise, it still packs the same AudioDNA2 processor but somehow sounds 'better', I think John Johnson (founder of Digitech before it was sold to Harman re-hired to work on this RP) had a lot to do with the improvements. I think they have made this with it being used/abused in mind, from the rigid metal chasis, to the USB connectivity, line-in jack to play along backing tracks, headphone input, stereo out, built-in looper (40 seconds) and the awesome Stompbox and SoundCheck features.The Stompbox mode is great for live use, enabling you to assign different pedals (3) to any of the footswitches, you can still use 8 effects at the same time and assign a switch to three of the 8. The best feature for me is the Soundcheck, here's what it does: let's say you play the "Cliff of Dover" chorus, once soundcheck is engaged, it repeats the chorus indefinitely, you then put down your guitar, and tweak away until you find the perfect sound! This box is a tweaker's dream, from model options, routing options, up to EQ frequency adjustments and LFO options, you'll find yourself engrossed in finding that tone in your head in no time! Available models have a very wide range, from the usual Marshalls, clean Fenders and variety amps (Vox, Matchless, Soldano, Peavey 5150, Vai's Legacy, Dime's Randall). All effects and amp models are usable, I like Digitech inserting models around the new rock sounds of Imagine Dragons, Walk the Moon, Kings of Leon, Muse, etc.. I'm thinking they're finally catering to the "hipsters" of this generation as well since high gain sounds are now rarely heard on the radio.Since it's still digital, I use a TS808HW in front to drive the overdriven amps to improve it's dynamics and make the dirty and high gain sounds feel a little bit analog. You can use any passive Volume or Expression pedal for the wah, whammy, or the parameter of your choice as well.
