A neighbor recommended this one. I bought it and tried it immediately. So easy to screw it into the drum and with only 3 hand squeezes and the bulb, the water began flowing. Towards the end of draining the drum I did have to pump more but it took barely any effort. I bought another for a friend to store in our earthquake sheds. Good product for a good price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well *by on Reviewed in the United States August 1, 2024* This is the best way I know of to get liquids out of a barrel but we also use it to transfer water to other places. We had the best results when the receiving container is on lower ground was on lower ground. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent hand pump does the trick. *by on Reviewed in the United States July 25, 2016* Works as expected, though it doesn't do much when you get to the bottom of the barrel. If you stop it will just empty what is left in the stem back into the barrel. Not a design flaw, just not perfect. Hard to get into a pumping rhythm when it feels like I am about to pull the pump handle off the pump when I reach the top of the draw. For all I know, I could actually do that. I don't want to find out what might happen then. A mess I am guessing.
