This is a beautiful box. Not thin wood either, nice and sturdy but not too heavy. Decent storage space, for something that you want on a desk or dresser. The lock could be a bit more sturdy, but I did not buy it for the lock, I bought it for the looks and the size, which it is great on both of those.

It was exactly what I wanted and it was extremely well made… Believe it or not I keep my daily meds in it right next to my chair and no one knows what I keep handy in there since it’s under lock and key! I love it!

When I unwrapped it from the plastic, the fumes from the stain made me sick. There were two stray spots of stain that looked awful and the lock was not straight. I felt I could have made a better one myself, but I am fairly artistic. I did like the "free" item, but felt an obligation to return it. Way too expensive for what was sent to me.

I wanted a decent, long lasting, none plastic storage container for my steak knives. This was the perfect fit. The lock was a bonus, it works very smoothly. The product is well made and the hinges are discrete. The lid fits perfectly, no wobbling or uneven edges. It was delivered without issue, no damaged corners or scuffing. The finish is good. I don’t review much but wanted to let buyers know that this is a great price for a quality product. Shipped quickly.

The overall aesthetics and build quality were good, but the wood smelled bad, not unlike an outhouse. Airing out for 4 or 5 days helped a little. I decided to put a number of coats of Minwax wax finish on everything (after a little touch up sanding in spots) to try to seal on the odor. That helped, but it still has a bit of a stink to it. Google says this wood can have a pleasant sweet smell, but poor examples can smell like urine. Based on other comments, I'd say you have a good chance of getting the former, but be prepared for the latter.

Ótima caixa de madeira! Gostei do espaço e da pequena que vem junto. Achei as dobradiças um pouco frágeis, mas mesmo assim estou satisfeito. Vale o preço. Não achei nada semelhante aqui no Brasil.

It’s a wooden box with a cute spice box inside. No splinters, very well made. I ordered a second one after receiving this one. Smelled kind of bad when I first got it, as they tend to do, but it aired out just fine.

Honestly, this is he most beautiful big little Stash Box I've ever seen. The lock is a little frail but, the box is so beautiful, it invites a more gentle touch. Absolutely beautiful. I'm super happy 😄 (and it smells super!). Thank you
