I picked these up to use across different coaching situations, and they’ve been such an easy tool to keep on hand. The cards follow the G.R.O.W format, with one question per card and plenty of variety in each category. I’ve used them with individual clients, families, and even mixed-age groups, and they work well for all of it. The questions are straightforward and help take the pressure off when someone doesn’t know where to start. They make coaching conversations feel a lot less overwhelming and a lot more natural. Simple, practical, and versatile — exactly what I needed.

I highly recommend the MBM G.R.O.W. Coaching Cards! They make the coaching process incredibly seamless and thorough by clearly laying out all the steps, ensuring every phase is deeply explored. The large font size is a huge plus for easy reading, and the color-coding and numbers make separating the G.R.O.W. steps quick and intuitive. While the card quality is excellent and sturdy, I would love to see the glossy finish on both sides, as the matte side can sometimes make the cards stick together. Overall, this deck is an invaluable resource that immediately elevates coaching conversations. I can't wait to buy more decks from MBM, I'd love to have them ALL!

These Grow MBN coaching cards exceeded my expectations. Yes, there are 80 GROW cards included in this set - but an additional 23 cards shuffled in to the set that are to be thrown away - they are either about the author, literal advertising for the other "courses," or otherwise unrelated to the coaching cards. I find this incredibly wasteful and disappointing. On to the quality of the GROW card course itself - It's very simplistic, but has already helped me to start my day by choosing one card from each of the four categories and get my mind focused on the future. If you're a beginner with this, like me, then I'd recommend this set. It is quite expensive though, breaking down to $2/day (.50/card and you draw four each day), just something to be aware of.

I wouldn't exactly call these 'elite' as they're a bit elementary. That said, they could be very helpful for a new manager, supervisor, or coach to learn and use some of the basics of the GROW model. The cards are decent quality and will definitely hold up well over time. Plus, the box they come in is sturdy and looks attractive. A warning: It wasn't clear to me when I picked these up but the cards were created by a UK company so the spellings are not American English (think "centre" vs "center" or "labour" vs "labor") and all the informational cards have references to £ instead of $. It's not a dealbreaker per se, but it was definitely unexpected and makes some of the materials less useful in an American context.

As with the art of coaching, the right questions at the right moment allow for reflection, insight, growth, and action. These cards hold great questions, and also within a great framework too, for non-coaches to experienced coaches looking for more. The cards are printed and feel durable, there is variety and quality in the questions, along with a few cards that have great tips and reminders. I’ll be using these for myself, and as an addition to my toolbox of resources!
