**Q: Will it run an appliance electrical specification 60Hz 270 W 2.25A**
A: The rating on a converter is an absolute maximum, so you need to leave some margin for error. The longer amount of time you use the appliance for the more margin you should leave. Also, the converter does not convert Hertz (Hz). For 99% of appliances the Hz are not important. It only becomes an issue if your appliance has a clock or an electric motor that gets its timing from the Hz. In that case the appliance would run slower in the UK.

**Q: could you please give me the dimensions of the transformer, as I have a restricted area to put it.**
A: Dimensions - 180mm wide x 250mm long x 140mm high.

**Q: I have a US NiCad battery charger for a flash gun which states an out put voltage of 10.15 v  2.5VA. I presume it is ok for this?**
A: It depends. Battery chargers can be difficult because a lot of them have power correction capacitors. These stop the battery being over-charged by feeding power back to the mains. This is fine if you are connected to the mains, but if you are connected to a converter it can damage the converter. It would be better to source a UK charger for the flash gun.

**Q: Can i use this with a l'oreal steampod straightener? it is 1150-125v 60hz 140w electronically controlled.**
A: Sorry I can't answer your specific question. I can say, however, that the transformer is exceptionally well made and very reliable. (I use it for a Swiss sewing machine made for the American market that I use in Italy.)
