D'Addario Flex Lock Strap Blocks, Locking Strap Solution, Set of 4, Black

These are an affordable solution for those of us who want a locking style strap but don't want to make any modifications onto our guitars. They fit snugly and hold the strap in place well, they're soft so they won't scratch your guitar's finish , quality wise they seem good, but I have seen similar ones sold by Chinese sellers for much cheaper. Very easy to use and install, recommended. Keep your guitar protected!

I love these they turn an old strap into one that’s just as efficient as a more expensive new lock strap. They’re easy to put on they work. Great. They hold through a tornado. I love them.

I bought these for an acoustic guitar because I didn't want to install straplocks, and they work very well! They simply fit over the top of a normal strap on a standard strap button and they hold securely. This is a very inexpensive way without installing Schaller or Dunlop straplocks, and these D'Addarios are awesome!

The little tab helps to remove them if you need to exchange to another guitar. The rubber is soft and easily removed and applied. I'm not sure that's good. But it's designed to be removed and reapplied, so it makes sense. However, for a strap lock, I'm not sure it's the best design overall.

Cheap and secure. I do double duty playing guitar and singing. I can now sing my guitar behind my back when I’m not playing and I don’t have to worry about the strap coming off. Well worth the price!

Good and sturdy piece. The material seems thick and strong and I don’t expect we will have issues with it. Keeps the strap stable. And allows the comfort of the strap to be the focus. We are gentle on the guitar so it should be great for us.

All these years the the Jim Dunlop's and Albert Dean Grover's of the world have been laboring under the delusion that you had to construct this hulking monstrosity to stop your guitar from falling off the straps while you're getting crazy on stage. D'Addarii just said "keep it simple stupid". And the "drop condom" (which is something that I just started calling it) was born. Versatility? Check. They worked on my Les Paul my Stratocaster my Soloist my Barbarian, my Monarch etc.......Check. Color? Black-Check. Easy installation. It doesn't weigh anything. And Material? It's hard but malleable rubber (hence the title Drop Condom). Check. Adjustability? It's not really necessary.

I have a few guitars with small strap pins. I was going to swap them out, but then a relative suggested I try these. They are a great solution, as long as you don't want to take the strap off every time you finish playing. But it's perfect for me because I just leave the straps on when I put the guitars back on their stands.

I have used the expensive metal strap locks for year and think they're great. However, I did have one break on me, so I thought I'd try an alternative. These little rubber gaskets work very well. The instrument is secure; the whole point this exercise. It is a 2-step process to remove the strap block and then the strap, but no big deal when you're only paying a few bucks for the item. The little pull tabs make the removal process much easier. Recommended.
