After re-painting the trim in our home it was time to move on from my Iron Gym doorframe pull-up bar. I researched many standalone power towers online and decided to go with the Bongkim branded one due to a combination of price and the wide base looking like it would offer more stability than a narrow tower. I am quite pleased with this purchase. I did the assembly just by myself and found it to be easy. The station is quite stable when in use. I am 6 feet tall and 175 pounds. There is barely any forward/backward flex in this station when doing chin ups or pull ups on it. I feel more secure on this than on my old Iron Gym doorframe bar, actually. As you can see from the image I have completed my setup with some EVA foam mats, and a pair of gymnastic rings so I can do dips. The only negative I have to point out about this product is that the included wrap-around grip tape stuff is junk. It starts to come unwrapped after one workout session. The bare bar is grippy enough if your hands are a bit callused, however weight lifting gloves provide a perfect solution for those looking for a bit more grip. Holistically this was not a big enough downside to subtract from the rating as what matters to me with this product is stability and durability above all else. It has been 6 months of ownership with this product and using it 4-5 times per week, and it has held up to my expectations and continued use with zero issues.

I was very happy with my purchase of the Bongkim dip bars, such that I felt good about buying this pull-up bar, too. I am also very pleased with the pull-up bars. They're sturdy, easy to assemble, the bars have a nice feeling coating, and the adjustment range is exactly what I am looking for. Overall, I use this pull-up bar almost daily. I never change the height; what I really love is that there are multiple heights to pick from so I easily found the right height for my basement. Buying large exercise equipment online is kind of nerve wracking, but I am so happy with my Bongkim purchases that I went out of my way to write reviews to help others lessen the anxiety about making the purchase since this contributes to improving people's health. I guess I was fortunate in that none of the pieces were missing or items were damaged. I hope this helps.

This is sturdy, easy to assemble and a good value for the money. It takes up a lot of space but you know that going in. Some reviewers have noted that the grip tape isn’t very good and they’re probably right but I didn’t want that anyway. I recommend using weight lifting straps , they serve as the grip and allow you to work your lats without your forearms giving out first. That’s why I wanted a straight bar with no rubber coating. Overall this is a good product that meets my needs

From the very first step forward, the pull up bar wobbled like crazy due to having the head of the screw sticking out. For a product this expensive, it’s crazy to think how much thoughtlessness went into the product. Got the stability and design of a dysfunctional asymmetrical animal.

I recently purchased the Pull Up Station and, while I received the correct item, I was disappointed to find that it was missing some essential parts for assembly. The design should be improved for stability and durability. The company shipped me missing part and I installed it.

Pros: works as advertised Cons: scratches easily Mitigating factors: I’m under 6ft and under 200lbs so stability may vary if you’re heavier and taller. Very wide so if your space is limited this could be a con for you. No grip and grip tape is insufficient but because I use gloves, this isn’t a con for me.

The equipment is excellent—it lets me perform advanced calisthenics with ease. I did have a minor issue with one part, but customer service was quick to respond and sent a replacement free of charge. Summary: Highly recommend this vendor! Top-tier gear and outstanding support. Would buy again without hesitation.

Simple to put together, really sturdy for strict chins and my ring work

Pretty decent, probably the most stable of the products Amazon sells. Would love a version of this where weight can be added to the base for more stability. Also if there were expansion slots to install dip attachments.

Super robuste facile à assembler

For the price it is very well made. I was short a couple of washers but otherwise was fine. I have used it quite a bit already and it actually feels quite solid. Since I am a welder I could have easily welded up something similar but stronger for only three time the price not counting the time involved. I can already tell the difference it is making on my hand strength!!! One day I will make it to actually doing pull ups!!!! : ) I am 190lbs and it does not feel flimsy. Assembly was quite simple and took less than an hour to unbox and put together. It does take a bit of a footprint but does move easily on my terra cotta tile floors in the studio here. I would definitely buy again. Don't over tighten the bolts... just snug them down. I am confident I will get a lot of use out of it.
