Unfortunately, the eclipse was anticlimactic where I live due to heavy overcast skies. As a result, the only noticeable change was that it got quite dark outside. However, I tested the glasses indoors with a very bright light and outdoors while looking at the sun, and they worked as they should. They are ISO approved, so I felt confident using them. It's worth noting that it's not worth buying certain items if they aren't made in countries with stricter rules and regulations, such as ISO standards. The news item about glasses that were made in China, which were not safe to use, prompted me to test these glasses and ensure they were approved and appropriate.

I put hours of research into this. I did not want cheap Chinese knock-offs when my family's safety was on the line. Are they a little more expensive than the fake Chinese knock-offs. Yes, but my family's safety is worth the expense and yours is too. This is not the place to save a few bucks. These glasses are made in the USA by an American Astronomical Society (AAS) approved manufacturer and sold by an AAS approved vendor.

My daughter and her friends used these glasses for the annular solar eclipse in October during their marching band competition and they said that the glasses work perfectly for the eclipse highly recommended!!!
