Comic-Connellsville! The โLetโs Get Togetherโ Festival! Who knew that two events could trigger so much drama in Odyssey? Wootonโs announcement about a family of detectives leads to suspicion and intrigue. Whitโs challenge of some popular ideas causes a difficult tug-of-war between conviction and compromise. And the surprise arrival of a few friends and former adversaries creates the perfect blend of excitement, comedy, and important life lessons for everyone. The Ties That Bind contains 12 all-new episodes exploring questions about Godโs design for marriage and family, loyalty, redemption, commitment, and love. Itโs a collection for your whole family to enjoy and talk about. Review: One of the best Odyssey stories - A very good storyline that got the whole family discussing issues about speaking up for what you believe. Review: The Truth Chronicles were one of my three favorites because it had funny episodes that still exploring absolute truth and creati - Adventures in Odyssey episodes recently have either been long and full of suspense (the Green Ring Conspiracy and the Labyrinth in the Deep End) and taught a small lesson or have been mostly based around a certain lesson with less of a suspenseful story(Clanging Cymbols, The Truth Chronicles, and A Grand Design). The Truth Chronicles were one of my three favorites because it had funny episodes that still exploring absolute truth and creationism, but the episodes weren't connected and didn't make you want to keep listening . The Green Ring Conspiracy was another one of my favorites because it all told one suspenseful story full of deception, but it didn't have many lessons it taught. My third and final favorite was the Novacomm Saga because it was a long and suspenseful story that kept you on the edge of your seat, but lacked the deep thoughts of the Truth Chronicles. Finally Adventures in Odyssey released an episode that combined the pros of all three, The Ties that Bind is a long and suspenseful mystery that teaches lessons about family, adoption, and other modern topics that are important. My family and I learned a lot about what family is and why it is important. There were some negative aspects of the album, like how they kept some of the topics in broad terms and how some scenes gave me deja vu (Whit finds out info from a protagonist's brother in a hospital room like Novacomm and someone wants to hang up a controversial poster in Whit's End like the Green Ring Conspiracy), but the good by far outweighed the bad.

Given as a gift but my family has been listening ...
Given as a gift but my family has been listening to these for 30 years. They're short; about half an hour each and the stories describe character qualities.

Fantastic, entertaining moral message for kids!
Adventures in Odyssey is a family favorite, especially on car rides. It is highly entertaining and well done dramatizations of moral, faithfilled and timely messages. The Ties That Bind is especially good to help address and gently explain a moral understanding of the true meaning of family as God intended. A must buy!
