Float ball, it is a ball and it floats.
It is a pump float ball. It works. Nothing to get excited about; not something to write home about. It won’t do your taxes or plot a trajectory to the moon. It floats, the end.

Hard to find float ball.
Could not find in hardware stores in this area. Old float ball was cracked and taking in water. Replaced the old float ball with Kerick valve float ball, water shuts off in water tank now.

Quite a small float, but provides more than enough uplift to close a 3/4 valve on a 50psi supply, even with a short (12") bar. Well made. Threaded on to bar easily.

Wasn’t threaded as stated for 1/4” threads but I cut my own with a tap and it installed as needed.
